It’s very isolated and we found the activities that they offer they didn’t do so we got a bit bored also we felt a bit unwelcome

I've returned to Crusoes Retreat after 7 years, hoping it will be the same resort I remembered. But aparently lot has changes. Resort is quite run down. They are working on some renovations, but still lot of work ahead. We were 4 adults, they have organised an airport pickup for us, but sent a small car. It was quite uncomfortable, especially when the resort is rougly 2.5 hours drive from the Nadi airport. But what really spoiled the vacation for us were some of the resort staff. Especially the old lady serving food and taking orders. Cant recall if I ever met somebody so rude and useless. She was unpleasant and never made any order right. Quite a shame as most of the resort staff was actually quite nice. The hotel is also quite isolated and without a car, there is not a lot of options to get out. Hotel restaurant is ok, but quite pricey for what they offer. They say you come as a guest and leave as a friend, but that was definitely not our case. After this experience, I am sure I will never return again.

Loved our stay. Family friendly… very quaint and the staffs are lovely.

The relationship with the village next door is really special and a real bonus for connecting with the locals and culture.

Meals were average quality for a high price and the variety could have been better.

It was a beautiful setting. With simple, but very comfortable accommodations. The staff was outstanding! They responded to any need we might have and were so friendly. Our travel friends celebrated their Anniversary, and the staff went out of their way to make it truly special. We truly felt we did “Come as guests and leave as friends”!

The WIFi was not always available.
