Crusoe’s is in a peaceful bay with a beautiful outlook of the sunset, but the service is below what we expect in Fiji. Checkin was lacklustre - we were left standing around and no one showed us to our room. When we got there it didn’t match our expectations - all beds no comfortable place to sit. We moved to a beachfront Bure which was better with a pleasant patio. Service was slow and the resort felt unloved and empty, like it had seen better times.

Really beautiful place, however, food was terribly overpriced and not so special. They say breakfast is included but in that they just include a few not-so-good-looking fruits, bread and jam. No proteins at all. Sorry but that can't be called breakfast. I needed to pay 20$ for a few eggs and some bacon. Now, the room. Not so clean, found mold in the shower and on the pillow. Ok the shower, but the pillow? I might get sick. Tiny room and if youre with kids, there's no privacy whatsoever. Nice beach, but they pollute it a lot. I saw them throwing some trash in it, really bad. Sometimes they hired a guy to cut the coconuts from the palms and I hate to say they just smashed the coconuts on the floor. Did they think about selling them for a few dollars instead of throwing them? And they're good because I asked the guy if he could give me one and it was so sweet and refreshing. So sad. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so you're almost forced to eat there, unless you paid super expensive taxis or rented a car. Closest town is 30 minutes away with car. Even went to the capital but nothing to see at all. Really sad to see a beautiful place used badly. The only good food I ate was at the village. Fresh fish caught that evening, so good. Won't come back.
