Elerkey Guest House is as the name suggests a typically British guest house but none the worse for that. It is a wonderfully friendly place and Ann looked after us splendidly. The house is spotless and comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful with lots of choice.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. However, and this is not a criticism as some people like a firmish bed, but I personally would have preferred a softer mattress or perhaps the option of a softer "topper".

The owner was so helpful after we nearly lost a car wheel. I was helped with local repairs and even offered a lift to assist. So helpful and what an amazing area.

We could not have been made more welcome by Anne and her family, and nothing was too much trouble. The cooked breakfast by Maria was the best we have had in a bed and breakfast guest house. It was also really nice to be surrounded by Harvey's artwork. Great location in the village, and ideally situated just opposite the New Inn.
