"It was very old and dirty for the price I paid..."

6.0

I think the B&B has potential, but they need to make rooms nicer, our room was very old, but not nice, the floors had holes, and we had the sensation there could be mice around. The bathroom was dirty and also too much dust around. The house in general is nice, and I understand it could be very difficult to maintain such an old property, but I think it was not cheap. The location was good, but you need to park far from the hotel. The breakfast was very good. The room was huge, but it has an attic that my kids went up very happy to play and it was like the place they put all the stuff they don't need, and it has never been clean. My kids were scared of the place and didn't wanted to stay in the second room, so we had to sleep all in the same bed. The owners are very nice, and I am sorry to write this like this, but it is the truth... Please excuse me, but I think the B&B has a great potential to be awesome.

"traditional late 18th century family run hotel."

8.0

Small hotel run by the very friendly Zenasni family. Excellent location, short walk to main square etc. Part of private residence, Rooms typical Brugge - larger than average with high ceilings. Our "red" room - nice bathroom but handheld shower over iron bathtub rather awkward, no coffee making facility in room rather surprising. Would have liked an English speaking TV news channel but hey - we're on holiday! Beds comfy. Use of umbrellas in hallway stand came in very handy one showery morning. All in all a pleasant experience.

"Excellent character b and b"

10.0

We stayed in the recently refurbed Blue Room, wonderful little hotel with character features. The owner and his staff where all extremely helpful and attentive. The location is excellent being a couple of minutes off the main square. An excellent continental breakfast is provided.

"Great value for a longer stay"

10.0

We loved our stay at Maison Zenasni. The natural charm of our hosts further exhalted our long weekend there. We were only two and therefore enjoyed the space. The White Room is actually an apartment for four, so the format was excellent for ou stay which was 4 days because it gave us the flexibility of doing our own cooking without tying ourselves down to a sit-down meal. The building itself was lovely, and I particularly enjoyed being in a house rather than a hotel. The breakfast was of excellent quality and generous. The bed was really comfortable, no lumps and bumps, and does not sag. Thank you for spending a bit more for a better mattress and a bigger size. My final note is not a criticism, but a little precaution to those who are particularly attractive to mosquitoes,- come prepared! It does not detract from the accomodation itself, but is just something to consider when visiting a town with canals, I think. Well done Djamil, you are definitely recommended.
