Lovely little hotel in Sofia -nice spacious room & comfy bed…staff are lovely and couldn’t be more helpful, a big shout out to Maya on reception she is a lovely lady and soo helpful.The hotel also has a restaurant and we had dinner there last night we both said it was our best meal since arriving in Bulgaria & good prices…if we ever come back to Sofia we would not hesitate to book Hotel Geneva again 😀

Hotel Geneva in Sofia, is to be avoided, expensive room, old hotel, little maintained, cleanliness not who knows what, only 5 parking spaces, one right on the street I parked in such a way as not to block a door, I called the receptionist said it was ok, then they called us from the room to move the car back, when we wanted to pay by card in the restaurant the waiter sent us to the reception and at the reception they told us that we can pay in the restaurant😏. We were not inspired by anything.

The staff is very kind and helpful! The waiters listened to my daughter's orders and made her laugh while waiting for food. The receptists were always prompt to call taxis. My wife and I stayed here while adopting our 3 year old daughter. She threw many tantrums due to the changes in her life. The staff were always patient with us no matter what. The breakfast was plentiful. The restaurant was relaxed, with good food that was very cheap. The rooms were clean and spacious. Highly recommended!

The staff is very patient, professional and kind. The rooms were big, cleaned almost everyday. The meals of full board supplement were delicious and the portions we huge. The stuff even prepared vegan dishes especially for me everyday. The food was ready whenever we were. Great value for money. We will most definitely come back!

Well.This hotel have big and clean rooms but they are spartan.Breakfast is spartan too.Personel is very kind and helpfull and are best part of hotel.Hotel is cheap and offer great value for money.Anywhere else in Europe this hotel would have at most 3 stars but in Bulgaria they got 4.Overall I m happy with this place and will return.

The hotel is middle quality. Only adventage is big rooms. They said that they've parking but it is not true. It's very difficult to park if the hotel is full. They can offer you parking for 16lev which is like a elevator. If someone entered before you and wanted to exit first you have to go and move your car. Another opportunity is to park in parking from another hotel which is 1km faraway. It is clean but only that what is visible. Looks like the cleaning lady didn't move the blanket for long. The bucket is broken, it looks like it won't even change it.

Only drawbacks is that using the sauna costs extra and you share the balcony with your neighbour. Breakfast is OK but nothing special.

Bathroom bath wasn’t working.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Geneva! The room was very spacious - double bed, plus a single bed, table with 2 chairs and was set up for making coffee, large TV, new and spotlessly clean large bathroom, and also a patio! We were impressed. Delicious variety of food at breakfast. Both the reception staff and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful: turning on the sauna for us ahead of time so it could get up to temperature, allowing us to use their computer to check in for our flight and print boarding passes, calling taxis for us to get us where we needed to go. Very helpful. The hotel is a 5-minute taxi drive away from the pedestrian shopping street and landmarks, costing about 4 leva (2 Euros) - taxi ride back to the hotel via a different taxi service cost more. The area can also be reached by the trams (we did not use them). I recommend this hotel.
