Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel & Residences

Staff were SO kind and amazing, especially Mark and Yona. Room service was AMAZING! Food was crazy good, and I loved everything I ordered on the menu. Fish and chips were great, the side order of the vegetables and the desserts 🤤 view was amazing too!

Shower gel wasn’t filled when I arrived I didn’t mind as I had my own. Understand it’s the Hilton but I think the prices were super expensive for what you get.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hilton Surfers Paradise and would happily stay again. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are exceptional, the location is hard to beat and the facilities are fantastic. Everything felt easy, comfortable and well-maintained, which is exactly what we were looking for when travelling with three children, including a baby. What impressed us most was how seamless the whole experience felt. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, there was genuinely very little to fault. If we return to Surfers Paradise, this will be our first choice of accommodation. Location The location was perfect for our family. We were right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, with restaurants, cafes, shops, the beach and plenty of activities all just steps from the hotel. One of the biggest advantages was how close everything was. With three children, including a baby, it was wonderful being able to pop back to the room within five minutes whenever we needed to. I had been concerned about street noise before arriving but we heard virtually nothing. The apartment was incredibly quiet, with no traffic noise and no noticeable noise from neighbouring rooms. The only sound we could hear was the ocean when the balcony doors were open. Room We booked an ocean-view apartment and the views exceeded our expectations. This wasn’t a partial glimpse of the ocean from one corner of the room—it was a genuine ocean-view apartment. We enjoyed beautiful views from both the main living area and the master bedroom and you could even see the ocean from the second bedroom. The apartment felt modern, spacious and very well presented. Nothing felt tired or shabby. Everything was clean, comfortable and maintained to a high standard. The blockout curtains, which were fantastic when travelling with a baby. It’s one of those little details that makes a big difference to family travel. the beds were also comfortable Facilities As we were travelling during winter, having an indoor pool was important to us. The indoor pool wasn’t quite as warm as I personally would have liked, but my husband and all three children happily swam in it, so I suspect I’m just a little more particular about water temperature than most people. I certainly wouldn’t let that put you off booking. What I particularly liked was that the indoor pool area didn’t feel like one of those enclosed, hot, steamy chlorine rooms that make you want to leave after ten minutes. The space opened out to fresh air and had lovely views over the gardens, making it a much more pleasant place to spend time. The spa was generously sized and positioned perfectly beside the pool. There was also a sauna, which my husband enjoyed, and a gym. The outdoor pool and children’s splash area would be fantastic during the warmer months but the play equipment was quite rusty. It wasn’t enough to impact our stay, but it did stand out because the hotel was maintained to such a high standard. ⸻ Service & Staff Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Travelling with three children can sometimes make you feel a little self-conscious in higher-end hotels, but we never felt that way here. Nobody made us feel out of place and everyone was warm and accommodating. In fact, the hotel felt surprisingly family-friendly while still maintaining a premium atmosphere. It was also nice to see other families staying at the hotel, which helped create a relaxed environment without making it feel like a family resort. The service throughout our stay was consistently excellent. Buffet Breakfast There was an enormous selection of food, including hot breakfast items, pastries, toast, cereals, muffins, donuts and much more. The variety was impressive and the quality was excellent. This wasn’t your average hotel buffet. Everything felt fresh, well-presented and premium, with plenty of options for both adults and children. Breakfast quickly became one of the highlights of our stay. We genuinely enjoyed our stay at Hilton Surfers Paradise. It was comfortable, convenient, family-friendly and luxurious all at the same time. The location made everything easy, the rooms were beautiful, the facilities were excellent and the staff were wonderful. We actually moved to another hotel afterwards and the difference was immediately noticeable. Despite being similarly priced, the Hilton simply offered a much more polished and enjoyable experience. Even our children commented that they preferred the Hilton. Whether you’re travelling as a family, planning a couples’ getaway or organising a girls’ weekend, I would highly recommend staying here. We could easily have stayed longer and will absolutely be back.
