Thon Hotel Andrikken

Bra opphold med god frokost. Rommet ble ikke ryddet i tidsrommet torsdag - søndag. Ingen var innom og fjernet skitne kopper, håndklær eller søppel. Føneren på badet virker ikke og toalettet uler veldig høyt når en flusher. Hadde et bra opphold allikevel.

I stayed one night in your Hotel Marena in Andenes. Hotel Andrikken is the partner hotel. I contacted them via email - there was no response. I contacted them on Booking.com, yet no response. Their facilities were appalling. The reception was in a different hotel 5 blocks away. The WiFi password given was wrong. When I found the correct password it was not working. I tried phone call three times and two hours later I spoke to someone who said to check the WiFi but it never worked. This hotel is worse than a budget hotel but costs too much.

Vesiputket metelöivät (vinkuivat) toisena majoitusyönä niin et ei pystynyt nukkumaan, osa hotellivieraista odotteli ulkona äänen loppumista, se loppui klo 02:10. Mitään vastaantuloa hotelli ei tarjonnut. Hotelli on remontissa, mikä ehkä aiheutti ongelman.

Ble litt stress ved innsjekking pga nye regler med legitimasjon med bilde av oss begge. Min mann hadde klart å miste sertifikatet så vi måtte styre med å få laste ned en app, men det gikk med god hjelp fra resepsjonisten. Ellers fantastisk bra opphold.

Good hotel, great breakfast. All the necessary was there

There ARE hotels with curtains that effectively darken the rooms, so that you have a chance to sleep without a sleeping mask in nordic countries in summer. Unfortunately, this hotel does not know about it...!

Vänligt och trevligt i Andenes, gångavstånd till hamnen och till några restauranger. Fräscht och bra rum, god frukost.

The town Andenes is more known for Northern Light tours, which means it’s essentially a ghost town if you are visiting in the summer. This is one of 2 hotels owned by the same chain on the Main Street, and has older rooms with a decent breakfast. Many rooms face unpaved parking areas, and there was construction outside during our stay which led to very loud noises in the AM. The front desk doubles as a bar, and they serve a simple restaurant with pancakes, fried eggs, and cold cuts. They did offer some pizza for dinner if you could not find a table at the restaurant next door, but overall it has the feel of a Howard Johnson in the US.
