The location and proximity

I requested the price match given that the much lower price that was advertised by other travel sites and the same site Booking.com about 1 week after I booked. Even after several attempt to reach out and explain, it was turned down. I wish there is a more good gesture to ensure best customer service which apparently not the case.

No cleanliness of room, no service and/or help from anyone at the resort. Roaches in rooms and when reported, service desk said I needed to call RCI so they can clean it for us. Not recommended at all.

They put us in a previously flooded room that smelled like mold . We had to stay in our car the first night. They did move us , but will not answer my emails to refund me for the first night. Never again !

Love it

I’ve never left a review and generally find RCI properties to be great! But this was the worst unit I’ve ever stayed in. The room was so dirty I didn’t feel comfortable taking off my shoes. The floors were dingy and dirty, the cabinets old and grimy, the shower was dated and dirty. Plus very small and right next to the toilet. The couch had dirt caked in it and rips in the cushions. The bedroom had a urine smell in the corner of it. We saw a lot of bugs despite them coming to spray in the unit when I was there. This made the bugs worse because they came out of hiding I think. The pull out sofa was a joke to sleep on. Plus the security were not nice. They text me 2x and called 1x but did not leave a message while I was in Hāna without good service to tell me I had a towel on my deck. I thought something was seriously wrong. Then when I spoke to her, she rudely said “I won’t write you a violation this time.” Ok, I didn’t know this was a rule since I wasn’t provided with them. Plus, why try and contact me that many times over that? Then one night she closed the pool 5 min early, but gave a 5 min warning at the 10 min mark, but proceeded to shake her keys while standing by the hot tub waiting for us to get out. Checking out felt amazing. I won’t be returning.

Close to the beach in Kihei, Maui and to the restaurants and stores in that area.

The room was small, felt and smell like it was humid during the whole stay, even the closes were humid and smelling bas when outside the suitcases.

We liked the two pools and close proximity to the ocean and great restaurants! Interior design was cute as well.

Lower jacuzzi bubbler was not working, and amenities were somewhat outdated (bathroom sink, tiles, etc). There was not hot water in our sink.

Location and pool

Ground level room was passable. Deck was too narrow to sit outside comfortably.

Close to the beach, there were a few useful items, such as plates and cutlery, which were very convenient

The room smelled so bad, the bed was very uncomfortable, and small. It was advertised as a queen-sized bed, but it was merely a full-size bed. The sheets were old and looked dirty, and had a very unpleasant smell. They were doing some cleaning, so there was a lot of noise making it very hard to relax or sleep
