DoubleTree By Hilton Avanos Cappadocia

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Avanos Cappadocia, expecting the standard level of safety and comfort typically associated with the Hilton brand. The hotel has a nice exterior and the bed was quite comfortable, which I appreciated. However, there were a few disappointments during my stay. The room felt a bit rundown and dated, which detracted from the overall comfort. More notably, the bathroom design is not very senior-friendly. The shower is located over a deep bathtub, which is quite slippery and can be dangerous for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. On top of that, the mixer and valve were not working well, making it hard to adjust the water temperature properly. While the hotel has potential and some strengths, it falls short in terms of maintenance and accessibility. I hope the management will consider updating the rooms and improving the bathroom setup to better align with Hilton’s usual standards.

Üzülerek yazıyorum Hilton double treee ye bu konaklama hiç yakışmadı malesef 1-Odadaki tavan çok basıktı 2-Lavoboda mahremiyet yoktu lavıboya pencere koymuşlar ve kapı sürgülüydü kitlenmiyordu :) 3-Gece 00:15 gibi oda kapımız 3-4 kere zorlandı zaten o saatten sonra bir gözümüz açık uyuduk. 4-Açık büfe kahvaltısı güzeldi çeşit vs fazlaydı Vs vs vs en özet olarak Hilton’a bu konaklama yakışmadı bu yazdığım yoruma göre karar sizin bir daha ben açıkçası çok Hilton’da kalmayı düşünmüyorum.

The location of the Hotel is very convenient and I must say that we did not know what to expect but when we arrived to the Hotel, we were met and welcome by Kadir who took care of us, offered us Turkish tea while our room was getting ready. The room, the breakfast, dinner were all amazing and the staff in general were so professional and showed consistency throughout our stay. Oguzhan took care of us as we dined in the restaurant and his services were impressive and he made sure that we enjoyed our dinner by suggesting dishes and drinks. I would 100%!recommend this hotel and I am looking forward to returning in the near future.

We stayed at the Hilton Avanos for four nights. And were very happy with the service and facilities The breakfast was a nice spread, with Turkish and continental fare The room was fine.. only point to note is that you need to step into the bathtub for a shower (might be a concern for people with mobility issues) Dinner at the hotel was great too.. good food and service Location-wise.. probably best suited if you have your own transport, or like to walk

They hotel location and service excellent especially ms Yildiz at Front Desk team she is amazing. Hope we can come back again with my family. The Room #1004 also great have bathtub and hot water wasthe best we can have after long journey need this kind of service and facilities when you traveling in Turkey.

The worst ever customer service I have experienced anywhere in the world in a Hilton branded double tree Totally disappointed The room's heating was extremely hot like an oven ,so developed migraine, the staff are unfriendly or rude or basically not trained to Hilton standards anywhere in the world Restaurant is awful especially the concierge at the dining restaurant,. The food was absolutely horrible ,tasteless ,the chilcken was like a hard board leather, none of the dishes with so many choices -all were horrible to taste After coming back from the optional hot air balloon experience which was running a bit late to drop off at this hotel,havingnontine to have breakfast in the breakfast room the manager in charge of the restaurant wouldn't even allow a cup of coffee or few snacks to take to the bus of Insight vacations and finally the Insight tour guide had to intervene for them to allow a cup of coffee to take on the bus and letting us starve without breakfast This the first time I've ever experienced such disgraceful and condemnable behaviour by Double Tree Hilton I would not recommend this hotel at all to stay The $163 dollar a night not ever worth considering for best customer service or food or ambience It's a terrible place to stay and it is fair way away from the hot air balloon launching site Totally an unpleasant experience at this hotel

While touring Capadocia , The second night on this hotel, there was no tv service, when asked why, the answer was, there was no WiFi , therefore no tv, when in fact, there was WiFi????, other rooms from our group on 36 had tv service, they just refused to come and check.

Pros: -beautiful decorated rooms (clean and with comfortable beds) and common areas with lovely sweeping views. -good food at the breakfast and dinner buffets. Cons: -poor management practices: no free water, coffee or tea at dinner - the machines were there but covered up, to force people to buy these inexpensive beverages that are included with dinner at all other hotels. -air-perfuming machines outside of the elevators emitted overwhelmingly strong, unpleasant smells 24/7, almost enough to make you gag. - at breakfast, despite the huge breakfast crowds, the solitary omelette maker would always be just walking around the restaurant instead of being consistently behind the counter making omelettes. You’d have to track down a worker and beg them to send someone to make omelettes. By the time the omelette guy meandered back to his work station, there was a massive line of people all waiting for omelettes. There were a large number of workers just milling around the restaurant, but it seemed like none of them wanted to actually work. Why not have two workers making omelets, and one less worker wandering around? When you asked for anything, they acted mildly annoyed at whatever your request was for (for example, asking for water or a glass). And then the omelette guy didn’t speak English well enough to understand what people were ordering. A completely unnecessary problem!!! - Impossible to sleep well at night because the room was so hot. Despite the cold weather outside, the rooms were overwarmed and the thermostat was unresponsive to all attempts to lower it. The single window only opened about 1 inch, which did nothing to cool off the room. We went down to talk to management about it and they said that the ability to lower the temperature of the rooms was turned off centrally. He offered to turn our room’s A/C back on, and he did, but in the middle of the night someone turned it off centrally again. Really frustrating!!! This lovely-looking hotel could easily get consistent 5 star reviews, with just a few small changes, but apparently the management team doesn’t care about customer satisfaction, and is instead willing to alienate their clients to save just a few pennies.

Genel anlamda otel güzeldi ; fakat dikkatimi çeken havuz hiyejen kuralları pek uygulanmıyordu ; yemek seçenekleri azdı daha çeşitli ve daha özenli lezzetli olabilirdi ; konum güzel personel gayet iyi yardımcı ve güler yüzlü ; fakat otelin bir takım yenilenme işlemlerine tabi tutulması gerekiyor bazı aynalar paslı idi ve abajörler yertıktı ; Daha iyi olabilmesi için hafif dokunuşlar gerekmekte , Herşey için çok teşekkür ederiz .
