It was very spacious and clean.

There was no air conditioning in the room.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing building- probably the most fancy hotel we've ever stayed in! The views overlooking the park are amazing. Very quirky room!

For the price we paid for the room, we did expect a little more. A few things really needed updating, such as the very worn out carpet. The main concern we had was that our room (133) vibrated! Not an experience we've ever had before. It sounded like some sort of generator underneath our room, and you could feel the floor moving and the lights and table etc wobbling. It was most strange. The noise went on till the early hours of the morning before we finally got some peace!

We hosted our wedding at Coombe Abbey Hotel in June 2026. We were immediately taken with the venue after visiting and being shown around by Joanne the weddings manager. The experience of working with Joanne was amazing; she seemed to just *get* what we were hoping for, couldn't do another to accommodate requests and gave really useful insight and advice - it was like having a friend who had planned a hundred weddings to go to for advice. The organisation was super smooth, straightforward and I really appreciated how every aspect was transparent and simple; this was so useful when you've got so many things to juggle. We had lots of out-of-town guests so the night before the hotel had reserved the restaurant extension for us for an informal dinner. It was gorgeous and a perfect start to the festivities. On the day itself everything was super smooth. Scott, our toastmaster, was on top of everything, mostly running everything in the background so we could enjoy the day and lightly coordinating us so we were in the right place at the right time. A consummate professional while also being really relaxed and friendly. Everyone was in awe of the venue, especially all the different architectural styles that made brilliant backdrops for photos. The staff were consistently great throughout the weekend and a credit to the hotel. We stayed in the Lady Craven suite for two nights and it was jaw-droppingly grand. We had to keep inviting guests up to check out the room as we didn't think they'd believe it if we even attempted to describe it. The grounds were also lovely, and it was especially great for those with children that they could break away and enjoy the park also. Food was varied and delicious, we had a fair number of vegan guests who were raving about how tasty everything was. Overall, it was the perfect venue and we had an incredible time. I'm so glad we had so many photos taken to look back on and enjoy for years to come.

Coombe Abbey Hotel is unique in its grandeur and style. The setting is stunning. The staff are helpful, kind and always happy to help. I was attending an event and stayed an extra night following a beautiful afternoon tea and a walk in the park. The rooms are all special and have little quirks. The beds in both rooms were comfy and I slept well. Breakfast always was tasty and the range of foods offered was wide.

It is an old building and maintained well, but as with all old buildings some areas gather dust.

Absolutely unique Wildlife was great, rabbits, squirrels, birds Ghost like interior haunting
