Rich Resort Beachside Hotel

Below average and uncomfortable, staff not exactly the nicest or most outgoing.

Definitely worth it for the price(480 bhat a night) especially since it steps right out on to the beach through their bar. I do recommend spending the extra 100 bhat a night and getting the deluxe room as you can see from my photos, it's really worth the extra bit as the standard room was not the nicest. The staff at this property were very strange, half were extremely friendly and bent over backwards to make every request I had come to fruition, however the other half, especially the lady that works in the morning that finishes at 1600 always had a scouling look on her face was extremely grumpy and seemed miserable. I had an issue with my price of the hotel and she basically was not willing to help me out at all, but when the younger guy that is the manager was sitting there and overhead my problem he took care of it right away. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are on a budget, just don't expect 5 star service or facilities.

Good budget priced hotel on the beach, with good bar and central to local food and entertainment. management and staff very helpful.

Great beach opening from the hotel, free sun beds. The location is alright, not grand but great value for money. The staff is really helpful.

Hotel is close to the beach just across small street and the room is very large and has comfortable bed.

Excellent hotel for people travelling on a budget. Two steps from lovely beach and close to all amenities. Rooms spacious and clean and in adequate standard. Staff friendly and helpful.

The rooms were dirty, although the location was really close to the beach. Other than that, everything else really sucked

Comfy room, I recommend air con over a fan, it does get pretty hot. Decent shower. Staff very helpful. Do go on a day boat trip to the Angthan national park. The trip is really worth it. The views are incredible - if you go take a pair of trainers for the climb to the top, you can do it in flip flops, (I did), but they were not ideal! The climb is quite steep p, but worth every drop of sweat at the top. Don't go on a jungle safari trip to see the elephants. I left the uk in January and have been on many trips in the last two months. This was the worst. I expected to see elephants being well treated at a sanctuary ... I saw ill treated elephants in a run down dump. The place was a disgrace. The other places on the trip were no more impressive. There are elephant sanctuaries to visit, just do more research than I did. This is one to miss, it was awful. But not the hotels fault!
