Marianne Wine Estate

De locatie en de omgeving, het uitzicht was prachtig. De man die tijdelijk aanwezig was tijdens ons verblijf op het domein om de gasten de wijndegustatie aan te bieden was top! Zeer aangenaam contact. Men heeft nog veel potentieel om een verblijf naar een hoger niveau te brengen.

Het ontbijt was in vergelijking met onze andere accommodaties minder goed. Te weinig variatie en het personeel die bij het ontbijt aanwezig was, was niet zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De accommodatie is qua locatie zeer goed gelegen en heeft veel troeven, maar het ontbreekt hem aan belangrijke details die de accommodatie een veel aangenamere sfeer kan geven. Het meubilair in de ontbijt/eetruimte is aan vernieuwing toe. Zowel op het terras als in de binnen ruimte. Het meubilair is oud en versleten en vormt geen geheel, verschillende soorten stoelen en tafels in één eetruimte.

We had a lovely stay at Marianne's. The Estate is gorgeous and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The people were very friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed in the Honeymoon Hut which had a lovely private terrace with views of the vineyards. We enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting and the food from the restaurant. The team was kind to also give us a tour around the wine cellar. We enjoyed walking around the Estate, watching fauna (sunbirds, peacocks), and enjoying time in the pool. We would definitely consider coming back!

Beautiful accommodation just outside of Stellenbosch. The rooms were beautiful and peaceful

Le domaine est magnifique, calme et très bien entretenu. Nous avons dîné au restaurant et participé en même temps à une dégustation de vins : c’était une très belle expérience. Le repas était excellent, avec un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Nous avons passé une soirée très agréable, avec des explications en français. Le jeune homme français qui travaille au domaine a été particulièrement sympathique et professionnel. Le petit-déjeuner le lendemain était très complet et copieux. Nous avons également pu commander du vin qui nous sera livré directement chez nous en France. Une très belle expérience que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

I loved the area so much, its a real paradise surrounded by lemon trees and vineyards. I had the great pleasure to stay in the chalet and it was just beautiful and an amazing experience being surrounded by nature. The dinner and the breakfast were very tasty and the staff so friendly and welcoming- overall an amazing experience! Please go and visit this wonderful place! Also we could enjoy a wine tasting that was included in the room rate!
