Posada del Cortes Hotel

Close to downtown but an a quiet street. Room is small but well appointed. Comfy bed, clean and well appointed. The architecture of the building is really nicely done with a lot of heritage features.

Great place, but the water in the shower never got hot- other than that, no complaints.

The posada was a lovely small hotel, my room for a single person was perfectly fine. But would choose a different time in February to be there. The weekend there was also a 'Biker' rally, many of whom were next door, and the Carnaval, just a few blacks away on the Malecon. As a result the usual peace and quiet was non existent for 2 nights. So do go and stay at Posada Cortes, just not on the 3rd weekend of February. Loved the room top patio, to meet people, have a cervesa, bird watch, sunset, etc. VERY clean.

Posada del Cortes is a gem! There are seven well designed and quiet rooms just steps from the ocean and downtown Loreto.

The Posada del Cortes is a very nice hotel at a very fair price. It is very close to everything in town (shops, restaurants, mission, services and the waterfront). It is a very good choice.

A fantastic, SMALL (7 rooms), boutique hotel, a block from the Malecon (beach road) and half a block from the old town square. Hotel is located down a side street (so a bit difficult to find the first time), but nice and quiet. Room was a bit tight with a king bed, but had EVERYTHING we needed... hot plate and kettle for my morning tea, coffee maker, frying pan, plates, cutlery, microwave, toaster, etc. We had our own small balcony, plus there is a roof top terrace and ground floor patio tables. We would definitely stay here again. WIFI was excellent.

Super cute. Autentic Mexican architecture. Friendly staff. Very well appointed rooms. Loved this place. Keep in mind, this is not a full service hotel. Just 7 comfortable rooms. Walking distance to everything.

Great clean place. Good size patio with nice couch. TV with all satellite channels. Friendly and very informative staff.

The hotel was small, in a good location, and was newer and well-maintained. My particular room was small, but comfortable. Other rooms at the hotel may have been larger. The hotel staff was very good and accommodating. If I'm back in Loreto this will be the place I stay.

Very charming architecture. A lot of attention to detail created a warm and inviting stay. The staff was great and her recommendations regarding places to eat was right on. The room was lovely and had everything we needed including a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. It is a one block walk to the Malacon and perhaps a three block strol to the historic center, the square, the mission, and lots of dining choices. With off street parking and easy in and out access, for us it was a perfect stopover in Loreto. This is a very small hotel with probably eight rooms, so no big crowds, but also no restaurant on site and no pool.
