Posada del Cortes Hotel

The staff were lovely but the room was tiny and bed and pillows had plastic covers on them, which was not comfortable at all, not to mention hearing it anytime someone moved. The bed was rock hard too. Maybe we just got a smaller room, but it was definitely not luxurious on any way and not worth the price we paid.

Great location just a short block or two from both the main plaza and the malecon. Very quaint hotel. Pets welcome as well for a modest nightly fee. Have stayed here a few times now, and look forward to the next time as well.

There was no one at the property when we arrived…we waited 10-15 minutes for someone to arrive

Very nice posada-style hotel with small kitchenette and walk-out balcony. We were able to open our doors and enjoy a nice cross breeze through the room making it very comfortable. Within easy walking distance of everything we needed - restaurants, the main square, ocean front, groceries, etc. Light breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. Staff was very friendly. Only downside was that we could hear footsteps and moving furniture on the rooftop patio directly above us. Certainly not a deal-breaker.

The hotel is very special and they have paid attention to details. Our room was a little small but I was told the rooms upstairs are larger. The bed was very comfortable and continental breakfast was brought to the room at a time qe requested. First class hotel. The hotel manager arranged a boating trip the next day I would recommend to anyone who wants to have an adventure. Manuel our captain qas great. Beach time was a surprise but made the trip. Will stay again.

Clean, quiet, cute little property. Courteous staff, easy walk to downtown tourist area, the mission and the bay. Secure parking. Stayed here in 2019 and liked it enough to return May 2022 and it was still good. A little high on price for a limited service hotel (no bar, no restaurant, no gym, not on beach etc). A safe choice if you don’t know the town. If you do know Loreto, you might do better, but it’s not a mistake.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The hotel location was perfect, close to the center of town. We really enjoyed our stay.
