Tradewinds McLeod Holiday Apartments

The apartment was stocked well (washing powder, washing detergent, tea towel, scrubber, alfoil, glad wrap, full kitchen utensils etc). Bed was comfy. Everything worked in the apartment. A quiet and pleasant place to stay. Linda was super nice and helpful.

Informed the property on Bookings of a late afternoon arrival. Got a response saying “subject to availability” with no other response. So called the property and the male manager was super unhelpful, rude and felt like I was talking to a brick wall. Called in to say that I would arrive after 6ish as I was travelling, and he gave me the impression that if I arrived late I wouldn’t be able to get into the accommodation and that there was no other options. This stressed me out as I wouldn’t be able to arrive before 5pm. Called 4 times, twice he answered and was unhelpful and frustrating to deal with. Then spoke twice to a lovely lady named Linda. She was a breath of fresh air, super polite, professional and easy to communicate with. She sorted out a late check-in and gave me my details within 2-3min. So shout out to LINDA, the real MVP of Tradewinds.

The staff were exceptionally helpful. and there was plenty of room within the apartment.

Unfortunately the kitchen and kitchen utensils were not very clean. We didn't get round to reporting it but perhaps we should have done.

They need to refund my $150 security deposit that I have paid them

Clean and convenient location . Clean swimming pool.

Wish if they had provided a sharp knife in kitchen ( the one that had was so blunt )
