Everything is perfect. Stunning location, charming hosts, helpful reception, characterful rooms, personal friendly service, fabulous pool and garden, and excellent food. What more can you want for a perfect relaxing holiday. Perfectly sited to visit nearby wine villages in this beautiful area.

It is a beautiful property with exquisite views. The owners are lovely people and the staff were helpful and pleasant.

It is rather frustrating when the rooms on Booking.com are presented in one way by picture, but when you arrive it is nowhere near what you consider a high price for very mediocre accommodation. It is not the first time it has happened. The self-service everything is not appealing. Not even a fork is put on the breakfast table. You even have to boil and time your own eggs. The establishment should really review these little details which make a big difference. We all do self-service at home. We don´t need it in hotels.

Beautiful grounds

So many bugs in the room in the bed at night. We were a late check in but the room should not have had bugs all over the bed and literally where the front staff had to take the dragonflies out.

Authentic upscale accommodations, ultra attentive yet unobtrusive service, idyllic setting in the heart of the Chianti region, beautiful pool area, ultra mellow ambiance. Very harmonious interactions between guests and staff. Breakfast bar somewhat uninspired, dinner selection and quality was good. Numerous guests were regulars, can definitely see why.

We are staying here as I write. What a warm welcome we received upon our arrival, and a greeting from the owner Jacqueline her self. Our room in the main building is beautiful dappled with nice art. We have the corner room on the 3rd floor which offers us a beautiful view of the Villa and a very pleasant breeze. The amenities are plentiful, we spent the late afternoon in the pool which offered in itself an amazing view of wine groves and Tuscan church that was perched on the hill. Dinner was another wonderful experience, where we sat in the garden terrace of the restaurant and enjoyed a leisurely and delicious dinner amongst the other guests. Everyone seemed so content and for once I didn't see anyone using their phone. Rather everyone was enjoying the conversation with their family. The owners were even seen enjoying dinner. The location is perfect. I can honestly say this might be one of my most favorite places to stay. Can't wait to get up tomorrow and enjoy my coffee in the hills of Chianti.

A Slice of Tuscan Heaven at Villa Le Barone Staying at Villa Le Barone was truly an unforgettable experience. This beautifully landscaped, quaint old Italian farmhouse captures the charm and serenity of the Tuscan countryside. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the stunning views of the vineyards and the peaceful, romantic atmosphere. The grounds are meticulously maintained, with fragrant gardens, shaded terraces, and plenty of spots to sit and soak in the scenery. The pool is a dream — cool, refreshing, and perfectly positioned to enjoy the rolling hills of Chianti. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, featuring fresh local ingredients, homemade pastries, and the most delicious Italian coffee you could ask for. We also enjoyed an amazing dinner at the villa — flavorful, beautifully presented, and full of regional variety. Everything from the wine selection to the dessert was thoughtfully curated. The staff deserves special mention — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made us feel at home and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. With its mix of rustic elegance, modern comforts, and authentic Tuscan charm, Villa Le Barone is a true gem. We can’t wait to return.

great place if you like Tuscany lifestyle.

We had an amazing and relaxing stay, it was the highlight of our trip! The views were spectacular. A very unique experience with amazing staff and food as well as a great wine selection. Dinner on sight was delicious. The town Panzano near by was quiet but had lots of restaurants and a quaint feel to it. Also check out the winery close by that is recommended by the hotel. Note: the area is accessible by bus from Florence but we would recommend a car as you can check out the sights a lot easier.

We loved our stay at this beautiful villa. All of our expectations were exceeded. The views are incredible, the grounds lovely and relaxing. We enjoyed several nice hikes in the area, wine tasting, and the pool. Breakfast was amazing, and dinner both nights of our stay served some of the best food we had in Italy. We hope we can return to this idyllic place!
