Excellent location. Beautiful building. Nice and helpful staff. Loved it.

This is a gorgeous hotel with a lot of history, staff is extremely nice and professional . We had a family room for 3 with a mezzanine, the whole room was small , dark, with no air unless you open the door. Just outside the room there was a comfortable couch and that helped. Bathroom was ok. Breakfast ok. WiFi did not work in room. Lots of noise early morning , there was a convention. We are still very happy we stayed in this unique hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. English , French spoken. Would recommend staying , just check room situation closer when you make your reservation.

Hotel acogedor, de bella apariencia colonial, con pocos pero buenos servicios. Habitaciones bonitas y cómodas. Bien ubicado en el centro histórico. Perfecto si se viene por negocios o reuniones. Si la altura te afecta mejor pedir habitación en la primera planta pues no tiene ascensor.

Beautiful building and decor. Our room was too warm at night, hence the next day kindly moved us to a much cooler room. Great experience to stay in such an historic building. Lovely helpful staff and good breakfast in included.

This hotel used to be a convent and they placed my wife and I in a room that had 2 single beds. The room itself reaked of tobacco, I asked the tour leader to see for himself and he agreed it smelt pretty bad. We could not stay in this room 6, went to room 27 with no water which they had to turn on and the bar fridge had nothing in it and not plugged in, there was even no outlet to be found anywhere near the fridge?? There was only 1 bath towel and we asked the front desk for another but it was never delivered to us. When we left we notices the window was open but this won't get the tobacco smell out the entire room, walls, ceilings etc need to be scrubbed down.

This hotel in the centre of Sucre, one block from the central plaza, is a delight and a deception in one. The main part of the hotel is built around a beautifully restored monastery. And some antique pieces of furniture adore the place. The hotel has a nice rooftop terrace. The rooms are well arranged and quiet. Clean rooms, Good beds, with hard mattresses. Excellent and strong showers. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is okay, seems a bit meagre, but the lady running the breakfast-room will do everything to add more variation, like delightful scrambled eggs or freshly brewed tea. The deception is the management. The only message in the room is a long list of regulations, containing many things forbidden by the management. No helpful information about things to do or see in Sucre. During my stay of forteen days a part of the bathroom equipment broke down, and when I left, I was charged 40 bolivianos (~€5) for the replacement. Ridiculous of course. If the management would be a bit more welcoming, I’d certainly recommend this place!

Idealement situé. Très beau cadre, grande chambre avec mini frigo et belle salle de bain. Tres bonne literie. Mauvaise isolation phonique et thermique. Pas de rideaux occultants ni de volets. Petit-déjeuner moyen.
