Hilltop Gardens

We were not impressed at all with the hotel, we had our 10 month old with us so a cot was provided, the cot however was absolutely filthy and broken, the mattress was so dirty that they had put a really thick fluffy blanket over it. We were told when we got there you had to pay 6 euro 50 a night for air conditioning which we did for the air conditioning to not work. We were put on the first floor with a baby and pushchair ect but there is no lift in the hotel. The area is out the way to the shops ect it was a 30 minute walk to the restaurants. The experience was that bad we checked in 11pm Sunday evening and checked out 8am Monday morning and paid for a new hotel.

Very rudy... very dirty. (I have been here a week and had the cleaner come in once) On the day of our check in before we could un pack we had to clean the room as you couldn't walk on the floor over the dirt.... also bed sheets have blood on them.. On our last day they tried charging me 45 euros for air conditioning (4 days) Even though I had all my receipts to prove I had already paid... They have one person working the bar. Reception, shop and check in.. So if you want a snack or a drink be prepared to wait a longggggggggg time... I would NOT recommend this place to anyone... Cyprus has been beautiful, but this hotel/apartment is a very very big let down.... And more than anything the staff are incredibly RUDE. I give this not even 1 star rating.

We were checked into room 203 late Sunday night by a really friendly welcoming man named john and from that wonderful welcoming things only got better . The location is perfect . .apartment is spotless and cleaned regulary Housekeeping is the best I've seen . Pool area is exactly as the pictures show . We never go all-inclusive but this time I'm sorry I didn't cause the food is amazing . . The staff in yhe bar are so friendly and helpful .Which brings me to the woman who made our holiday ... her name is Connie and works is the bar and cooks amazing food . She has the biggest smile for everyone and such a friendly atmosphere here because she knows everyone by name . She truly made our holiday . We are due to check out tomorrow but felt I had to let people know I would 100 percent recommend here .

Fantastic self catering apartment. Great location 20 mins walk to centre ( or 5 on a bus) . Apartment was clean & bright with a bath and sea view! Pool area was very nice ( although the new building that’s gone up ruins the view from there) Staff were helpful & friendly.

By no means the worst place, nor is it perfect. It's just an average, no frills 3 star hotel. I wouldnt be happy paying more than £350-£400 per week. We were self catering so had a room with a partial sea view, the room was clean enough, needed attention in areas but just cosmetic touch ups mostly. No hair dryer though. Location was good for us as we like to walk, it's an hour walk along the promenade to the harbour which is a lovely walk. If going to old town it's about 30 mins to walk along the top road, which just be careful of traffic.

Just back from staying at this hotel. It is clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly. I will definitely stay there again We wanted to hire a car and the lady spent a good 20 minutes ringing around to get us a good deal. The place was very quiet and the beds were comfortable and a maid visited daily

Lovely hotel . Everything needed in apartments, kitchen facilities cooker , toaster, fridge etc . Lovely staff . We never stay at hotel all day , we do venture out so any walking to explore more of the area was great for us . When we were at hotel all was lovely, quiet and peaceful to relax . These hotel apartments as good as other hotels I have stayed in, in Paphos . I would recommend .

This is a very clean, comfortable hotel with really friendly staff. It is three star but our apartment appeared recently refurbished and it had everything we needed. I suppose a microwave may have helped but not really an issue. The balcony was adequate with a sea view but no sun (may be different later in the year.) There is building work near to the hotel but it didn't really disturb us, although the view from the pool has disappeared. The pool area, reception and bar was pleasant, especially with the log fire burning in the evening. No draught beer and prices were a little high compared to outside. The hotel is in a quiet part of town with a 30 minute walk to the main strip (there are regular buses) but the coastal walk is only five minutes away, is lovely and you can walk for miles. The town centre is up the hill from the strip (get a bus) and full of cafes and restaurants with panoramic views. The harbour area is a collection of restaurants, shops and bars with of course that blue sea!

Stayed for three weeks. Dated apartments BUT cosy and clean. Really enjoyed it. A microwave would be good. Excellent and hard working cleaners. Very friendly and helpful other staff. Treat them with respect and they could not be more helpful. Very nice pool area and bar. Lots of building work going in around but they tell you this beforehand. No big deal as lovely Venus beach is only a 10 minute walk away. Walking to the old town is 20 minutes and the place to go to eat and drink. Follow the locals.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, well decorated and the most kindness staff who honestly couldn't do enough for us. Natalia organised for us to have a room next to the pool before we even arrived as my little girl has special needs, Tina is an lady, she even opened up the shop late in the evening so we could get some supplies when we only arrived. And as for Connie what can I say, she makes the best latte, and is she so friendly. I actually felt guilty leaving as staff made us feel so welcome. This hotel is set in a quiet location. But due to lots of nearly completed building work surrounding the hotel unfortunately we had to move, as my daughter is very sensory to noise. Personally if she wasn't with us I'd have stayed no bother, and plan to visit again. I'd read different reviews before arriving. And wish I hadn't. As honestly for the price we paid via jet2. It was ideal for a last minute break. Go experience it for yourself and be kind to theor wonderful staff.
