Red Frog Beach Island Resort

Incredible experience - location and views are gorgeous! Perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The villas are lovely and well equipped, with private plunge pools. The beach club La Rosa is a glorious place to spend an afternoon doing nothing but relaxing when you need a break from adventure! It does take a little planning - this is a luxurious location on a small mostly undeveloped island - that’s the beauty of it. Be in contact with the resort and reach out to other travelers with questions. Very affordable for the space and accommodations received. They also have “jungle villas” - a more organic rustic experience, still fully equipped and with incredible views and access to all the resort amenities, but “perfect for 2”at a lower price point. Finally, the staff are wonderful - friendly and helpful - always with a smile. Any small glitches were readily handled . Bring sunscreen, bring bug spray (you ARE in a jungle), bring a camera and have a great time!

Red frog and the staff were excellent, we loved our stay and would be happy to come back. The only reason we give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because a good amount of amenities were closed : the pool, zipline, one of the restaurants, and the market. The staff did a good job making up for these closures, they were amazing! But if you’re booked for these you may want to be aware before you arrive.

The resort is stunning - surrounded fed by nature, clean, and quiet! The staff are very kind and helpful. Enrice took care of a large spider for us and Sergio at the front desk was incredible helpful with whatever we needed. Also, Amir was a fabulous guide on our tours. The dolphin tour, starfish beach, and the bat cave are all worth it. We saw sloths, dolphins, and more! I would definitely recommend coming here with a family or as a couple!!!

It’s a big scam, you will lose your money as I did. Never got my refund, they never will pay you back. Skip this resort and book something else.

The Red Frog Resort is a beautifully located area. Although it rained for most of the time, the beach and property are amazing. We saw sloths, monkeys and of corse the red frogs throughout our stay. The staff was so nice and made us feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful experience in Bocas.

We absolutely loved staying at Red Frog! The staff was so helpful and friendly with everything!! Our accommodations were spectacular. We hope to be back next year.

Amazing property with fantastic views and friendly staff.

I felt unsafe as the locks on the Jungle Room # 8 didn't all lock and curtains were missing , no way to contact desk or staff at times....Water to take a shower was cold at all times....the curtains that were there were dirty....I adv staff to move me to different room and they promised but, never gave me a new room....The staff driving golf cart to and from reception was nice and kind ..,.Kenny and Enrique .....My TV never worked right along with the main light turned on by itself in the middle of the night, possibly an electrical issue? I would never stay there and don't recommend it
