Rectory Farm

Clean, tidy well appointed room. Quiet location.

Location is good and it's surrounded by sheep farm gives that calming effect.

Room had smell of old bedding and room was warm in summer. there was no fan provided. We left the window open but noise from the road kept us awake.

Die Rectory Farm ist ein Landsitz in der Nähe der Autobahnabfahrt Cambridge. Man fährt durch ein schmiedeeisernes Tor und fühlt sich direkt wie in einem englischen Film. Die Unterkunft ist schön gelegen und hervorragend ausgestatattet. Von dort auf kommt man problemlos mit dem Taxi nach Cambridge, wo das Parken mit dem eigenen Auto nicht ganz einfach ist. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Frühstück gibt es nicht direkt im Haus, sondern gewissermaßen nebenan. Aber das ist nicht weiter tragisch ...

Useful distance for us when travelling.

Adequate room and facilities but insufficient ventilation. Had to sleep with a ground floor window wide open for air flow.

5* grounds but a 2* room. The pool area and gardens are beautiful for a sunny day.

The room was small, the bathroom filthy including the toilet brush with excrement on it, the air con didn’t work (and it was 30 degrees). The building resembled a shed so the front door was covered with bugs which entered the room as soon as you opened the door.
