The City Hotel

Very nice hotel very easy to get to from bus station!! Nice room & good breakfast pity no lift not so good if you have a big case!! I stayed 3 night s&was very pleasant nice staff would stay again

Restaurant was nice. Friendly staff. Nice park to walk and for children to play.

Stopped off with my motorcycle and was greeted by Lesley at the front desk—she was very friendly and got me checked in right away. All the staff went out of their way to help, nothing was too much trouble. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews—I’ll definitely be back, next time with my family. Dunfermline is a lovely wee place with plenty to see and do, and the hotel is not far from Edinburgh either. The room I had was huge. It was a little noisy at night, but that’s to be expected when you’re right in the middle of town. There are nice decking areas at the back, perfect for a drink or two, and breakfast was spot on. All in all, a great stay—I’ll be back!

Liked absolutely everything from the minute we stepped through the front door until we left, nothing to complain about rooms staff excellent even our packed breakfast due to leaving early for Edinburgh flight

Enjoyed our visit. Lovely friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and tasty dinners. We had executive room 15 on first floor. Very spacious and clean. No frills though. Just small bars of soap and a bottle of hair and body wash which was difficult to use as holder was broken. Otherwise no complaints. Would stay again on our next visit to Dunfermline.

The city hotel was great but awkward parking they dont have alot of parking spaces and to many stairs for me but had a great stay friendly staff food very good
