The City Hotel

I am a solo woman who was at the hotel for a respite break. I never felt uncomfortable at all during my stay. All the staff are lovely and very pleasant .

The City Hotel was comfortable and more than adequate with a variety of dining options and the staff were very accommodating with any request easily managed. Early morning wake up call and prepacked breakfast pack much appreciated.

Stayed here previously , still a really fantastic hotel , good facilities, nice rooms, great food , handy location, would definitely recommend

Had a great stay at the City Hotel. Check-in was quick and easy, and the receptionist was friendly. My room was clean, tidy and contained everything I needed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again, and highly recommend it.

Property, rooms, location was very good Breakfast was horrible & me being vegetarian (no eggs) there was nothing they could offer.

Service at the reception and during breakfast are good. Hôtel is in an old building, therefore no refrigerator, no safe in the room and no escalator nor lift. 20min walk to train station or 5min by taxi (cost about GBP 7)

Great hotel and great location

Comfortable accommodation in a good location with sufficient parking. Dining in the hotel was good and well priced. Decent portion sizes and reasonable selection.

Overall stay is usually very good however on this occasion i was given a small room with a sloping roof which i repeatedly banged my head off of. Be it in bed or in the shower. So not so good an experience this visit.
