Lupton Lodge

A very good breakfast with cereal, fruit and yoghurt then eggs and bacon on a muffin. It was my choice to stay out of Whangarei, and it was a very pretty country area with old stone walls and lush pastures.

I was perfectly happy with my accomodation, loved the decor and the comfortable bed,and the helpfulness of the owner

Quiet location a few minutes out of town in a parkland setting; spacious comfy room, outdoor area with barbecue table and chairs. We wish we could have stayed longer. Great breakfast, friendly host Andy.

Happy with everything, no complaints

Out of the way and quiet, very comfortable. Andy helped us out with a late arrival due to a flight delay and breakfast was fab.

The location was great, the room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

The breakfast was top notch; we also had dinner on the night of our arrival, which was superb. The wine list was well priced. The location easy to find and quiet with big gardens.

Location, staff, breakfast, and the room itself

Breakfast was probably the best of the entire trip we took - freshly prepared and amazing! room was very spacious, and we felt super comfortable. nice views onto the countryside

Beautiful relaxing location, large spacious well appointed room, Andy the host was so welcoming and helpful with both areas to visit and restaurants to eat at. Breakfast cooked by Andy was delicious and nutritious. We are,already looking forward to planning our return visit and bring friends to experience this gorgeous Lodge and the wonderful offerings,in Whangarei.
