The location, the people and the breakfast buffet were very good.

While the stay was great, the room felt tired. The bathroom, specifically the toilet and sink, looked very worn and could use a deep refresh or replacement.

Frokosten, utsikten, pianomannen, bassengområdet, sengene.

Måtte booke 2 rom med 4 + 2 sengeplasser, selv om vi var en familie på fire. Det hadde holdt med ett rom, men det var det ikke åpning for å booke via booking.com. Det var heller ikke mulig å endre dette da vi sjekket inn. Ifølge booking.com hadde vi booket ett stort rom. Men vi fikk to connected rooms. Det ene var ikke klart ved innsjekk. Det rommet som var klart, manglet håndklær og hadde en tett vask. Da rom 2 omsider var klart, fikk vi et rom lenger unna, som ikke var connected. Flere timer etter innsjekktidspunktet, fikk vi sammenhengende rom. Det kom såvidt vann ut av vasken på det ene rommet.

"WOW Hilton Namibia"

Pro: The woman managing the executive lounge is excellent. Fabulous experience! Con: weirdest experience. We were at the exact same hotel a week ago, so, we get our room today, turn on tv to watch tv via YouTube (husband loves PTI) and apps are locked because someone logged in with their ID (can see their app photo, gmail partial etc). Long story short tech person unable to unlock. Here is the good stuff, it’s escalated to management and Sr tech support. Over speaker phone (my husband, tech, weekend manager and I in room; Sr tech and escalation manager on phone) escalation manger tells us that Hilton Hotel chain has locked their TV’s world wide to prevent YouTube and Netflix usage in all Hilton Hotels. It’s something Hilton has newly implemented. What the what the?!? Sr tech support says they put in their info/gmail to lock tv. We tell management we were here last week and no issues. They say it’s likely that tv from a week ago hadn’t been locked (just wow!) Resolution, night manager asks my husband to show her using another room tv how he had previously accessed apps and he does, again no issues, YouTube works. We are moved to a room where tv apps work, weekend manager says there will be a meeting regarding this event. Conclusion: management literally lied and lied about Hilton brand. This is s*it you can’t make up. Crazy. Stars given only because of the lady in the executive lounge.
