Capo di Corfu

My Mum and I had an excellent 5 days relaxing at this resort. It had everything we needed; good food, excellent wifi, clean and modern facilities, pools and a beach all within easy walking distance. The resort isn't too big and all the rooms are spread out among the gardens so you don't feel like you're squashed in together which is so often the case at these sort of places. Our room was in the far away houses which was ideal for us so we looked out over the sea and it was quiet and remote. There are plenty of activities on offer for free if you want to get stuck in; aqua aerobics, dancing, games etc. We did aqua aerobics which was fun (but we only needed to do it once really!) PROS: Good free wifi EVERYWHERE (including beach and pools!), clean and modern facilities, nice (but not memorable food), inclusive drinks and pools snacks, friendly staff CONS: Annoying, loud poolside music - why provide it at all? Who likes it? Poor briefing from staff at check-in: we weren't told about the cheap (15 Euro pp) airport transfer the hotel provides to/from the airport so booked (through the hotel staff!) a taxi for 65 Euros. Then when our taxi arrived to take us we were very irritated to see a bus arriving at the same time for same journey that we weren't able to get! We also weren't told that we could re-fill the water bottle in the room at the bar and restaurant for free.

We happened on this hotel by chance when trying to book a room on Corfu on May Day weekend when not much else was available. The room was very nice (garden view). We didn't book it because of the all-inclusive package but the food was acceptable (think cruise ship buffet). It was very restful in the middle of a long and challenging trip.

Rooms were comfortable the hotel was spotless service was impeccable . Staff were friendly polite and professional. Ideal holiday to relax and chill

If you want a quiet relaxing holiday with great views and very friendly helpful staff then I can recommend this hotel + spa. Rooms are modern, clean + tidy. Lots of little extra's they don't mention on the website - all free including hairdryer, kettle, fresh bottled water and free courtesy room available for evening departures. The Spa has a great selection of treatments available and the gym facilities are a bonus. The food is very good with so much selection even picky eaters would find it difficult not to find a great choice to eat. There is a regular bus/coach service which runs to Corfu Town every day - approx 1 hour journey. A truly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

We enjoyed our time for 8 days in October, particularly as it was lovely weather. The cleanliness of the rooms and overall environment was superb, and the grounds were kept in very good shape. The staff were very friendly indeed and made every effort to ensure that we had a good stay. However this is a destination where you really need to expect to stay on site the entire time as there is nothing nearby for families to enjoy except the incredibly grotty Kavos. The beach was nice and the pools were excellent. There were also other things to do such as waterslides, and pool tables / table tennis. Disappointingly the promised kids club was not operational and was thus slightly misleading. There was however a very fun evening dance session for kids for 30minutes to let them run off steam before bed. Our main grumble for the trip was the quality of food. I dont know if it was because it was the end of season but the quality of meat was horrendous and you could tell that much of the food had been sitting around for days on end and was very tired. After reading the good reviews on here we were expecting more. It was a pleasant enough stay but I dont think we'd return in a hurry.

Amazing week in Corfu. Everything was really good. The food was excellent, very good facilities, excellent staff and the privatr beach is great.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks from 1st of September. Nice hotel, good food, comfortable rooms. The best thing is direct access to hotel's own beach with a beach bar. In general, everything was very good. Only few moments and recommendations: lot of wasps and mosquitoes, impossible to have meal outside the restaurant, room cleanliness could be way better, towels are old and smell bleach, not fit for 4 star hotel, toiletries are replaced only after reminding, same with bath gowns. Bar equipment should be renewed as there is some feeling of untidiness there. We went with a 3 year old daughter - and in September, there is no entertainment for children, though there were lots of families with young kids. Kid's club was open some hours of the day, but it was a small dust smelling room with tables for drawing only, for kids aged 4 and over. I would still recommend this hotel for its nice green territory with lots of flowers, sea and the beautiful beach, kind staff and great variety of food, also for overall relaxed atmosphere!

I spent one week at Capo di Corfu in May and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! while the hotel itself is comfortable, its location is a little out of the way (and out of the madness that is Kavos) which makes it the perfect place to relax and it has its own beach (with enough sun loungers for everybody). What makes this hotel stand out is the first classe customer service you receive: I travel almost every week for work and/or pleasure and this is by far the best service I have ever received. The staff genuinely cares about customers and go the extra mile to ensure you have a great holiday. I had a minor accident and broke a tooth: the hotel manager took me to see his dentist, stayed with me to translate and brought me back to the hotel (taking a good 4 hours out of his day for this). There is an animation team that looks after the kids during the day which means they dont run around screaming or splashing water;-) all in all, this is a great resort whether you're travelling alone, with friends or your family and you wont regret booking it.
