Riad Layalina

The staff is amazing.

It was a little dark but understandable since it’s an old building. The shower is ok but hot water ran well.

Nice riad with excellent and very helpful and friendly staff and owner. Generous breakfast and very convenient location - right on the edge of medina - so super close to the action but also easily accessible.

We enjoyed our stay, whatever small issues arose, Jerome immediately addressed them. Room is a bit dark, but that is true for most authentic riads in Morocco, so no big deal.

De Riad ziet er prachtig uit van binnen met een mooie binnentuin met terras. Het ontvangst door Esme was geweldig, ze leende ons zelfs geld voor het avondeten omdat we zo laat op de avond geen geld meer konden wisselen tijdens het suiker feest. De kamer zelf is prima met een lekker bed. Het ontbijt is erg uitgebreid. De poort naar de privé parkeerplaats was in het donker wat moeilijk te vinden, maar wij vonden het erg fijn dat de auto binnen kon staan. Het is aan de rand van de stad maar je loopt zo de medina in dus perfect met de auto!

Onze privé badkamer zat aan de overkant van de gang en is wat verouderd/mist ventilatie. Maar de douche is heerlijk warm.

The location of the Riad was on the perimeter of the Medina, so it was an ideal spot. On arrival, we were greeted by Jerome the owner and served a complimentary tagine, bread, fruit and mint tea by Esma, what a surprise! The Riad itself has been beautifully restored with lovely features throughout. Breakfast was another treat with omlettes, fruit juice, pancakes and breads/ jams along with mint tea and coffee. The roof top terrace was lovely for a relax in the afternoon. Everything was lovely

Il y a des lieux que l'on quitte avec regrets. Nous avons passé 6 nuits au Riad Layalina. L'accueil, dans un cadre magnifique, a été extrêmement chaleureux de la part de toute l'équipe du Riad. Notre chambre était très confortable et la literie parfaite. Et durant ce séjour nous avons particulièrement apprécié la cuisine préparée par Asma. Ce qui nous a incité à dîner tous les soirs au Riad. Un grand merci donc à Jérôme (le propriétaire), Asma et Redouane.
