Nenè - Accommodation Il Vicolo

We stayed for 3 nights in the Soppalco Apartment on the top (2nd) floor of the building. Located about 2km from the centre of Bellagio in in the fishing village of San Giovanni, the apartment is well appointed with stylish contemporary interior design (no accident as the owner is an architect!). The bathroom is large yet the kitchen is compact, which proved challenging cooking for the family. The apartment is good for families and those with older kids (ours slept in the mezzanine bedroom and loved it). The steps up to the 2nd level with luggage and younger children or babies might be a challenge for some. Free on street parking is available at the end of the street with the apartment is a short walk away (ped access only). There are immediate views of the village and some limited views of the mountains on the other side of the lake. A short walk to the ferry and lake via the narrow village streets is also lovely.

Nossa primeira impressão foi ruim pois era início da noite e o hotel fica situado numa.pequena vila chamada San Giovani. Parecia uma vila abandonada. Tivemos dificuldade em.encontrar o hotel. Nossa surpresa foi qdo descobrimos que o hotel era parte de uma empresa de arquitetos. Daí em diante foram várias surpresas. A vila toda criou vida no final do dia. Enfim, o apto é ótimo com excelente acabamento e decoração. Valeu a pena. Não se surpreendam negativamente à primeira vista.

Helpful owner; good breakfast in small town near Belagio; easy parking near-by; quiet rooms on inner courtyard; only drawback is that boats do not stop as frequently in San Giovanni as Bellagio which is a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk on narrow road away.

A new favorite spot in Bellagio's San Giovanni! You'll find Il Vicolo's immaculate rooms tucked into a quiet, romantic, perfectly Italian walking street across from the darling Nene Food. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, and we loved every part of our stay! We will be back! We could not get over the flawless design, the pristine cleanliness, and the brilliant use of space in our room! The beds (and pillows!) were so very comfortable, the bathroom was fantastic (featuring a state-of-the-art shower!), and the room was well-stocked with all the little amenities and local information you could need (from basics like the wifi password to restaurant/bar recommendations to directions to the pool at the Bellagio Sporting Club, which Il Vicolo guests have access to for free during the season)! The European breakfast served in the morning is as delicious as the kitchen and dining space are beautiful. Free parking is available in the spacious parking lot adjacent to the nearby park, and we were so thankful for stress-free off-street parking in the region! We walked back and forth from Bellagio, enjoying the stunning views and pleasantly surprised to find walking paths along all but a few stretches of the winding roads. We had the best time!

Great new apartment in the village of San Giovanni. Area has a restaurant and wine bar and the ferry dock is right outside your door for weekend service. 10 minute drive to Bellagio. Very quaint and very friendly and informative staff, free breakfast is excellent. Quiet evening strolls and local flavor without crowds.

About 20 minutes walk from the center of Bellagio but beautiful walk through the gardens. Nice cafe outside the apartment for continental breakfast and coffee

Nice Nice renovated room in a quite nice little town - very positive and welcoming owners

Trivelig hotell, hyggelig personell, gode senger, flott bad med god dusj, Bellagio og området rundt Como sjøen er en fantastisk idyll. Enkel, men OK frokost. Minus var noe dårlig renhold på rommet og mangelfullt bytte av håndduker. Et annet minus er at området har mye besøk av turister og at prisnivået på restauranter og i butikker var relativt høyt. Flere restauranter praktiserte cover charge i tillegg til pris på servering.

zimmer war modern eingerichtet mit möglichkeit tee oder kaffee selbst vorzubereiten - bad war großzugig und sauber- frühstück keine riesige auswahl aber alles von beste qualität und sehr schmackhaft . Servicekräfte alle freundlich und hilfsbereit - also nichts zu meckern !

Klein und fein, tolle Küche, wo auch das Frühstücksbuffet aufgebaut ist. Frühstück mlt bestem Parmaschinken und Käse. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt, Alissia hat gute Tipps zu Unternehmungen und Restaurants gegeben, gerne wieder😎
