Horrible experience would never recommend plzace is in desperate need of maintenance overhaul no one seems to knows how to manage anyone except there lunches and cigarettes everyone smoking cigarettes all day when should be working no management

This place was excellent. The staff was fantastic. The room and view were awesome. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing quiet trip. They told us ahead of time that there was renovation going on but you would never know it. The workers did not in any way interfere with our time. We travel often and have stayed I. Dozens of resorts and I would list this one up in the top 3. Five stars as far as I am concerned.

The property is older, all facilities are very complete. There is construction going on but it didn't interfere with our enjoyment.

Good place on nice beach with great staff. All the staff were good but the Tiki bar staff were the best!

We reserved 3 2 bedroom units through RCI for our family of 18. Two of the units were 2 areas shared by a common lockout unit. The one area was a nice, large bedroom furnished with a small kitchenette and bathroom. The second part of the unit had a small, full kitchen with a very small living area (filled by the pulled out hideabed) and a small bedroom with a small high window and connected bathroom. A two bedroom unit does not accurately describe these areas. It was really uncomfortable having children sleep in the other half with the possibility of the locked doors between them getting shut. And there was very little common area to be together in. The third unit we received was a traditional two bedroom unit with large, bright bedrooms and a larger living room. It was much nicer. However..... we had an amazingly wonderful time at the Royal Floridian. The staff we encountered were so friendly and willing to help. There are so many things for a family to do, with pools and hot-tubs both indoors and out, a shuffleboard court, a small mini golf course, a ping pong and pool table. There was a wonderful childrens area filled with toys and games and activities. The Floridian generously lended towels and toys to be used for the beach and pool but trusted people to return them so there was little feeling of uptight control over things or areas. They let us in rooms early if ready and there was not manipulative pressure to attend their sales event. This place is definitely the place to go with a family! We would go back in a heartbeat.

i love this resort ,yes it's older but very well kept, i usually get a studio with full kitchen because it's just me and the wife and this always gets ocean view. the staff is always pleasant and very helpful. i have a disability and when checking in 3 different employees just passing by at different times asked if i needed help unloading my car. the room was clean and well equipped, i cook everyday , view was amazing, pool and jacuzzi both indoor and outdoor very clean. plenty of restaurants and grocery stores close by, this resort is family friendly. i will definitely come back
