Super attentive staff and very flexible and helpful. Traveling with a 1.5 yo and they made everything for a super confortable stay

This is a larger Hotel in the mountains located on a plateau just above Arosa. I liked almost everything about this hotel: it is clean, efficiently run and has all the amenities necessary for ski vacation. It's close to the slopes, the staff is friendly and the views are spectacular. I recommend their spa as well.

The double bed is in fact 2 singles pushed together, leaving the inevitable crack in-between. Swiss hotels do have an issue with double beds, lol.

We stayed at Hof Maran for 10 days in July 2024. The entire experience, from the reception at arrival to the check-out, was exceptional. Besides the high level of professionalism, the friendliness of the staff was remarkable. There was never a "no, we cannot do". Whatever wishes we had, they were met, even if we were late in asking for picknick packages or forgot to arrange juices for our hike, we just asked, and it was done. The rooms were modern and very clean and cozy, lots of wood! You wake up to a spectacular view from the balcony to the mountain peaks! The food quality was excellent. Since there are various restaurants near the hotel, we had the choice from simple Bratwurst with Rösti (fried sausage with potatoes) up to a five-course menue. The leisure possibilities are abundant. We went mainly for hiking. The nature and the views are spectacular. (added some pictures of our hikes, the property itself looks really like on the pictures on their website )

We have been travelling to many countries, stayed at many hotels. This hotel is one of the very few where there is nothing we didn't like.
