nice clean room opening to garden with a small pool, friendly staff, no frills but good value for the money. Why not five starts - its a bit out of the way on the outskirts of Castelnuvo di G. in a residential/bit industrial neighborhood, cannot really walk to anywhere, car a must

Bodde här en natt. Ett stort plus är mannen som troligtvis är ägare. Pratade bra engelska och var mycket trevlig. Hade dock problem med djur på rummet. Små spindlar som kom från golvlisten. Påtalade problemet och en kvinna kom med kvast och skyffel för att "sopa" upp dom. Djuren försvann tillfälligt men var tillbaka till morgonen igen. Obehagligt men dom höll sig på golvet. Vid frukosten kom ägaren och tog upp "beställning" på vad vi kunde tänka oss att äta. Kaffe, juice, bröd och lite pålägg. Ingen "självservering" utan man fick det han kom med. Känns lite som om hotellet stannat upp i tid.

We stayed only one night but the hotel was nice and clean. Bathroom shower was very small but staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again

Courteous and pleasant staff, but the room (a double on the ground floor) was found very lacking. Evidence of poor cleaning (lots of dust and "debris" in every corner and windowsill in both bathroom, shower room and bedroom), but also incredibly loud, both through the walls to the room next door and to the hallway. The fittings in the room were very dated, and certainly not from this side of the millennium. It may also have been the most cramped double room we have ever been in: Suitcases had to be put on the bed when opened, and subsequently stored in the shower room in order to avoid hazardous night time visits to the bathroom. Also, true to Italian form, the mattresses were of the definite firm kind. Expect no comfort when staying here; a 3 star hotel this most certainly is not! At least there was free secured WiFi which we could use to book another hotel for the next night...

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful and made the short stay very pleasant. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable but a the room was a little dated but at the price it's great value for money.

I stayed at The Marquee for a week while my daughter was on a singing course nearby. I was very well looked after by Alfredo and I feel fortunate to have discovered The Marquee. The hotel restaurant was not open every evening but there was a good choice of restaurants in the area.

Skønt hotel med lille pool. Der var ganske lidt industristøj, som kunne høres på 1. sal men ikke generende. Flot udsigt til bjergene. Dejlig morgenmad med supergod kaffe :-) Fine værelser og yderst venlig service.

When arrived we were greeted very well. found the location very good with lots to do around (bowling alley 5min away) very good hosts. Nothing was too much trouble.
