Sheil Suites

Better than I expected for the price. Bargain! Great location for any travelling Liverpool supporter.

The windows never opened and it was quite warm with the sun beaming in

Bed as comfortable and sheets clean. Most of the younger staff were lovely but the older women who we initially spoke with when we first arrived at the hotel was initially rude and churlish. A few minutes afterwards she warmed but still didn't allow us to book in 20 minutes early evening though she allowed the gentleman in front of us do just this. Her excuse being we were leaving our luggage at the hotel. I'm still trying to work out what the logic for this was and have concluded she was just being difficult because on the phone earlier I had mentioned to one of the younger staff members that it would have been helpful to have been alerted in my most recent email from the hosts that the suites and hotel were not in the same place.

The property had not been hoovered. Carpets floors etc were dirty.Only the porcelain in bathroom had been cleaned.Tiles had blood speckles around sink. The entire place was in a poor state of repair. Shower support detached as did towel rail from wall!! Floor broken and uneven in bedroom.The property was cold damp and dinghy. Not a room to linger in. This would have been fine if it was cheap but I had paid for a superior suite and this was clearly not as described.Pictures on website are misleading and out room wasn't shown! Generally very disappointing for the cost. Fortunately Liverpool's son amazing city and otherwise we had a great time

The room was very cute, and the lady at the reception was nice and helpful.

The bedroom was super cold, and the shower didn't heat properly.

Close to the Anfield

Untidy, used condoms thrown away around the house which werent collected during our 2-night-stay, No staff, you have to enter the building using codes but sometimes the door is not accepting your code for rhe first 3 tries. The window was broken and it couldnt have been closed, 50£ deposit taken but it never returned also it had been promised. Not recommended at all.

Not really much I think it's over priced for it's location

To expensive for a 2 night stay with no breakfast and no reception just a telephone number if you had any problems

The position

The stairs were a little bit daunting for my aged friend

We were upgraded free to the beech mount hotel due to an issue at Sheil suites ( not sure what this was) beech mount also included breakfast at no extra charge

It is a long walk to city centre (40mins) however a little over £10 for a black Hackney and a £5 for an Uber .

Great place that deserves a higher rating. Clean, spacious, with speedy wifi and located close to the stadium of the best football team in the world. I will definitely come back!

Good location, a little warm but comfortable

Shower unit was temperamental (could be hot & cold intermittently)

The weather outside wasn’t so good and there wasn’t anything to make the room warmer during the nights
