Great location for Liverpool games. 20 minute walk to the ground. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in the area. Good public transport to get to the city centre. 15 minutes in a taxi to L1 costing £10 approx.

Check in was the worst I have ever had. They knew they would be busy as concert at Anfield so they had 1 receptionist checking people in!

Location was great for the reasons we travelled, Really close to Anfield and good surronding locations and handy for getting into and out of town centre with plenty of bus routes close by to the apartments. Ideal location to base from.

The room itself was really basic but that is fine for our needs however simple items were in poor state. Curtains on the windows had the supports hanging out of the wall, shower door is broken with only one side working and owners have set up a fix with a pole and shower curtain running wall to wall in the bathroom. issue with this is floor and mats are getting soaked when showering. Massive wardrobe but when opened not a single clothes hangar is in it!! Windows are ancient and provide no noise suppression and its a busy road so not quiet. Room was poorly cleaned, visible areas hoovered but under both beds a lot of dirt and found ear rings backs and a medal which meant they haven't been hoovered under, given they are high beds no excuse why not. No Heating, While this was May it was 2 low temp days and raining constantly so clothes where wet and room cold. I rang to find out about heating was told it was on timer for 6:30pm and left clothes on it, heating never came on clothes were still sapping next morning. Heat is for the whole building not per room so no way to switch on locally. Finally the door system which is a code to enter the building and then another code to enter the room, The building entrance keypad is in urgent need of maintenance. I spent 25-30 minutes trying to get in first evening as buttons would not work. Staff in hotel simply said they didnt have cover to send someone up so I had to keep trying finally it clicked.
