Hotel Smeraldo

Det har ett helt ok hotell. Inte fantastiskt, inte ofräscht. Precis... lagom. Sen är ju läget som det är vilket gör att priserna trissas upp. Plus för frukosten.

Empfang leider Katastrophe. Kaum besetz , die Damen arrogant und keine Hilfe, Informationen und Antworten auf Fragen. Frühstück jedoch gut und das Personal sehr nett. Zimmer sehr sauber aber im Bad leider keine Ablagemöglichkeit

Lots of ants, do not leave food or drinks in your room, lots of dust, old furnitures, For famililys with small children, you can not move the bed to the wall because the night stands are attached to the wall, good breakfast and frienldy straff. But we will never stay at the hotell again.

Posizione molto comoda a due passi dal centro. molto bene per il parcheggio compreso perchè in Sirmione i prezzi dei parcheggio pubblici sono assurdi. la colazione molto buona, tutto fresco. il personale gentile e disponibile. noi abbiamo soggiornato nel hotel smeraldo e dopo aver fatto il check in all'hotel la paul, abbiamo raggiunto l'hotel ma abbiamo trovato la reception deserta, non c'era nessun ad accoglierci. peccato per questo, inoltre non è molto sicuro. per il resto tutto bene. camera spaziosa, pulita e accogliente. consigliato per un soggiorno breve.

One of the best hotels we've stayed in recently - Ambra on reception was fantastically helpful, and everything worked wonderfully - great breakfast, cracking location, we loved being able to use their bikes, and the sunset from our balcony on night one was stunning. Would happily return to this hotel in the future : )

Wir wurden allerdings nicht im Hotel Smeraldo untergebracht sondern im Hotel Paül. Es liegt gegenüber. Es wurde uns zwar mitgeteilt, dass wir im Hotel Paül einchecken müssen, aber leider keine Adresse. Aber das Hotel ist sehr schön.

On arrival we had to abandon our car in the road then as no one was at reception we had to wait until someone came back as the doors were locked and we could only stare through the glass door at the telephone with the 'call 9 for service' option. Our room was basic and clean and lead out onto the lake which was lovely.. until the following morning. The walls are paper thin. Toilets flushing, every conversation, the cleaner managed to scrape along the floor every piece of furniture...twice!! The bathroom light sensor couldn't see you in the shower so every couple of minutes we had to open the door to wave the lights on again!! Breakfast was disappointing unless you wanted diabetes at the end of it - tones of cake! The bacon was tasteless as was the scrambled eggs. When I tried to check out and leave, again reception was unmanned. My door key had been disabled so I could not leave the hotel!! I called across to Hotel La Paul who said I had to pay tax to leave - great however I'm stuck in the hotel - after 2 calls and still no one bothering to let me out even after my explaining the illegality of being held hostage against my will I had to locate a fire exit to escape!!! Not my idea of fun!!

Although the location of this hotel is good, the hotel itself is awful. Very tired decor and furnishings, very dark and dingy and the dullest I've been in. Finding someone's dirty underwear in a drawer not impressive. So bad in fact, we booked out early. Food not good, staff really unhelpful, electrics not working very well & I could go on. When we left early to book in across the road, no questions asked at all as to why. The hotel opposite, the Miramar, same rating - 3 star, but the difference across the board was amazing by comparison. Even though we had to spend more of our precious holiday money to get in, was well worth it to escape this simply awful place. Avoid.
