The rooms were clean. The staff were lovely

The breakfast was poor. Bacon and sausages were tough like they were cooked the day before and reheated. The chef refused to make scrambled eggs even though the breakfast could be individually ordered item by item. Only poached or fried eggs offered. The beds were hard and the pillows were lumpy.

Room was very clean. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed.

Room decor was dated and had a few knocks. Noise from functions was very loud.

I used Lazaat, The Pavilion Suite for a charity event on 1st May. 160 guests, all had a fabulous evening, staff were great with us, the food was superb and the whole evening went with a swing. The staff including the admin staff that helped book and look after the event as it got closer, were easy to deal with , professional and friendly. Highly recommend. They allowed us to decorate the room, use the entire space for our fundraising , including raffle, bonkers bingo etc. very accommodating with everything I requested. First class.

We had our wedding here on 23/05/2026. The staff were amazing and so helpful in helping us organise and plan our wonderful day!! The wedding coordinator went above and beyond for us and truly made our day that extra special! The decor and room space was amazing couldn’t of asked for more or better was amazing thankyou all so so much

Food was expensive. Only place for miles aswell.

Specifically asked pre booking if hotel provided vat receipts. Having eaten and had drinks in restaurant and asked for vat receipt, this was not abkevto be provided. If travelling for business beware, said could have added it to room and had vat receipt but this was after paid and no receipt provided and no one available to refund. Frustrated as had specifically asked by email prior to booking.
