The Westender Inn

The property was unique and beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were plenty of places to lounge or sit by the many salt water pools overlooking the ocean. Lots of area to walk with pretty flowers and birds. Excellent breakfast and the dinners we ate there were good. Shuttle drivers friendly and can go to Whistling Bird on Seven Mile Beach for free. Cabin 7 with 2 bedrooms, good beds, a/c and tvs in each room, kitchen and living room was perfect for 2 friends (or could be for 2 couples). We would have liked to see some sort of tuck shop with snacks, sunscreen etc. because the property is not near shopping.

Beautifully maintained cliffside resort. The gardens are striking and the seaside view is stunning. Our seaside room was impeccably appointed. We enjoyed the patio outside our room - complete with hammock. Very peaceful and romantic. Dinner on the cliff after sunset was great. All staff are well trained and friendly. Our stay was a bucket list item for us. We were very happy with our experience.

This property is absolutely beautiful. Lush gardens, ocean, bar and restaurant! It’s a gem! I took away one star for the small crawlers randomly around. It’s ocean front so it’s expected.

Very nice spot for super nice staff, security, comfort, quiet surroundings, good food, clean pools. We had a month-long very private clean cottage rental with a gas stove,fridge, microwave,a toaster, quiet AC and parking. Great bar by the sea and a beautiful and delicious sunset dinner! What more could you want? TV had everything…ABC,NBC,FOX! even CBC and many others as well as continuous available movies. Owners David and Sue made sure we were happy, setting up a large screen to see the Super Bowl game in the open, accompanied by a seaside bonfire! A pleasant,no-traffic 20 minute drive to 7 mile beach or take their free shuttle service thrice daily with access at Whistling Bird private club, with all the facilities one could want. Loved our stay and would highly recommend Westender Inn.

Westender if a beautiful location and hidden gem that is a great bang for your buck. You can snorkel out front of the hotel/resort, have sunset views with food and drink service. There are a few pools to enjoy and the staff are absolutely lovely. We really appreciated having a peaceful space with close access to the busier parts of Negril & the main beaches when we wanted that experience, best of both worlds. We would definitely recommend!

Lovely property, very quiet and relaxing with amazing views. Very long way from the beach but does have a shuttle bus service. Recommend staying here if you want to get away and just chill.

I just spent five days at The Westender Inn in Negril, JA. The Inn was beyond beautiful with nice rooms, and amazing food! I had oxtails almost every night and not for nearly the price of what we pay here. They have 3 small-medium infinity pools and you could dive into the reef (I would not recommend it). The resort was full of Canadians and American hippies just like most of Negril lol everyone was kind, drinks were strong, and the weather was perfect. The Inn offers free shuttle service to the beach, Ricks Cafe, and other area attractions. The property is on beautiful grounds, tucked away from everything. Being able to go to the beach during the day and back to the tranquility of the Inn gave a perfect balance to the trip. There were two other single, black women visiting and lots of pairs of girlfriends. I highly recommend it!

Best place on west end Restaurant great value and solid local food The owner Dan is a gentleman and he's a very good employer The super staff are dedicated and loyal They make ur stay 👍👍 Pools are great U wanna relax ? No better spot The shuttle is very handy and the drivers very helpful
