"Excellent peaceful hotel"

A splendid place from which to visit Basel. In easy walking distance from both the university and the beautiful old part of the city. As with all hotels in Basel, I was provided with a free public transport pass - would that other cities did the same.

my partner and I stayed in this hotel for 1night. staff a little slow at check in, seemed to be so laid back they would drop off. room when eventually booked in was on the 5th floor. lifts only go to the 4th floor. a little staircase to climb but the room was so spacious. spotless and had a roof top decked area. tea and great coffee making facilities on the 4th floor. parking is in hotel grounds
