"Good"

De kamer was schoon, maar met losse plankjes, niet functionerende kluis. De wanden zijn zo gehorig dat je pas kunt slapen als al je buren eindelijk stil zijn.

"Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Dinkeloord"

4.0

Stayed here for one night. beautiful place from the outside, friendly staff but the room was basic.... i mean really basic. It was on the ground floor with aces to the private balcony. But the room wasn't that good, the room was big but the furniture was worn out, stains on the floor, stains on the ceiling, bed was way to soft, bathroom was also very basic. Dinner in the restaurant was good, the location is good, the building is nice. All this hotel needs is a renovation of the rooms to start with. Lot of potential but needs some attention. Would not stay here again until it's renovated.

"A pleasant stay."

6.0

The room was ok. Not new, but pleasant enough. Bathroom was ok too, although the radiator could have done with repainting. The light cover was cracked. The double bed was two single mattresses put together, and my husband and I had two single quilts which were tucked in around each mattress, keeping us apart from one another! The bed was extremely low and the mattresses were old with dips in them where hundreds of hotel guests have sat on the edge. However, we both had a good sleep in the bed(s). So we were comfortable enough. The carpet was very old with lots of whitish stains on it. It is a great pity that they do not provide an electric kettle, cups, teabags and milk, as we English drink lots of tea at any time of the day! However, our one night stay there was pleasant enough and we will most probably return next year, because the hotel location is near to Germany, and we like to visit Germany.

"Needs refurbishing"

4.0

Quite area and hotel. Good night of sleep. However the rooms are old and could use refurbishing. Basic breakfast. Could have been better. The receptionist did not provide a proper introduction/welcome. All in all, nothing remarkable, just an old and basic hotel.

"Dinkeloord"

Just a two day break but peaceful. Dinner in hotel restaurant was very good. We stay there at least once a year and are very happy with everything. No luxury but quiet and adequate for our purpose.

"Excellent staff, room in good repair, but the hotel is very noisy."

4.0

To start with the bad part: This hotel is very noisy; even our Marsona sound conditioner we take with us on every overnight trip, surrendered to the onslaught. To begin with, the hotel is situated on the N342 main road, where trucks will rumble past till late. Furthermore, the sound isolation in this hotel leaves something to be desired, so slamming doors, talking guests in the corridor and (loudly) talking guests in the rooms kept us awake until the small hours. On other points Hotel Dinkeloord does rather well. Despite the obvious fact that the hotel wasn't built last year, but some decades ago, the room was in good repair. The management obviously makes a point to keep the hotel fresh with occasional soft refurbishing. But that doesn't prevent that the room and especially the bathroom become a bit tired through the eyes of a 2015 guest. The bathroom was clean and in good repair, but it needs refurbishing with up-to-date fixtures as replacing the tub/shower curtain with a modern walk-in shower, just as the competitor chain Van der Valk is doing. Furthermore, the age of the hotel was accentuated by the archaic CRT television. The appointment of the room was three star. Free wi-fi, but no fridge, no coffe/tea making facilities and the room safe is permanently out of order. Service of the staff is excellent. We were checked in by a friendly and polite member of the staff and our further contacts with the staff were very satisfactory. My compliments for the high level of service.

"Country side comfort"

8.0

The rooms were clean except the carpet. There is not an iron or blow dryer provided so we had wet heads and wrinkled clothes. But if they would provide this the rating could go up because this was a fantastic hotel. The scenery is beautiful. The staff helpful and polite. Activities are a driving distance away. We used the pool and spa services. The breakfast was sufficient. Not really the greatest but good nonetheless. I would stay here again easily.
