The Maverick Inn

nothing. We had 2 nights booked and left after the first night.

The beds are uncomfortable, the property is undergoing renovations and the work crew was outside our window. The room is small, and does not look like the pictures. There are no attendants anywhere at the property. The door to the pool is unsafe... and I even saw some electrical wires right above a puddle of water. The shower looks old and also unsafe and unsanitary. I could go on... And the kicker is that the train passes by and honks several times every night. The non refundable conditions make sense, no refunds after you come in and see where you are actually staying.

This property was great for a quick one night trip. Bathroom was small, but the bed was comfortable.

The shower stall was stained, earplugs were provided to block out the highway and railroad noises. The chair was probably leather at one time. The toilet lid was not in the best of shape. The fan rattled. the room was no where near the size of the picture on the website. The bed squeeked. We immediately checked out and checked into another hotel

Clean and functional. Great lounge area with coffee and snacks plus a table we used for take out dinner. Nice courtyard area that our dogs enjoyed. If you have a lot of luggage and two dogs get one of the bigger rooms.

Loved the room we had, a very unique Texas Inn, and a pool.

Nice little room but bathroom quite small road noise next to rooms was high. Coffee and pool were nice. Overall very good but for price as expected

I came back here specifically because I loved the pool so much, but this time it was closed all three days I was here, so I ended up wishing I’d stayed somewhere else.

A very unique experience. Quiet, and comfortable. No frills, but everything you need. I will stay here again for sure.
