Eco Resort Inn

The Eco Resort Inn is excellently located close to the historic old town of Paramaribo. Despite its close proximity to town it also has a myriad of bird-life, both at the al fresco dining area and by the waterside. We also took advantage of the nearby Torarica Hotel's excellent facilities: pool, sauna, spa, dining & bar options.

Correct hotel, good breakfast, bit ver y bad beds.

rooms are ok, but in very mediocre condition, rusty shower, telephone in very bad condition, even local calls within Paramaribo are charged to your bill (rather pathetic) and also $15,50 per day (!) is charged for use of electricity and water!!!!! What is the use of a hotel room, without electricity and water (also rather pathetic and extremely keen on making extra money)?

Staff wasn't friendly at all

I traveled to Suriname for almost two years, during my trips I spend part of the time in Paramaribo and in the Hinterland. Thus I need to check in and out from hotels in the City. At Eco resort I have all the servces i need, shuttle, breakfast, taxi service, restaurant in walking distance and closet for my bags when I go on to short trips to the hinterland in between my stays. I higly recomend it as iti is a good place to stay within a reasoble budget.

Quite pleasant. We especially enjoyed the beautiful pavilion that housed the continental breakfast. It was peaceful , the food was delicious and we enjoyed watching the birds and lizards that came to feed at the feeder.

Our stay was really fine.The mixture of eco style relaxed comfort mixed with modern amenities can't be compared easily. The staff was attentive as can be and were always friendly and helpful.

The hotel is well-maintained and comfortable. It is within walking distance to much of downtown Paramaribo. Good breakfast. Although the on-site pool is small, the access to the pool facilities at Torarica next door was a real bonus.

Great, friendly staff is the highlight of this hotel. It's a lovely stop to sleep at night but you definitely need to be up and about your own agenda. The room was much smaller than anticipated. The pool was perfect for about 6 children at once although you receive a card for access to a pool at another hotel 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast lacked variety and if you did not love meat cheese was always your option. Well situated at a reasonable distance from the major recommended sites, food establishments and the shopping district. If walking was not your fancy then taxis were easily accessible

The hotel is located in close proximity to some of the major attractions in Paramaribo. Rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is superb and the staff very friendly and multi-lingual. Grounds are pleasant and in all a very nice budget friendly hotel.
