cIt was fantasti and allowed for me to be close to the activities of downtown Paramaribo

We stayed there for 5 nights as a group for the Youth chess championship. Very friendly staff. Rooms desperately in need for renovation. Uncomfortable beds. Small rooms. Excellent breakfast - the best time of the day at the hotel.

Love that this hotel feels like you are outside of the city, with its location right on the river, it’s birds and other wild animals, and the beautiful trees and flowers. But it’s 5 min away from civilization. Perfect for me.

Would stay again. But rooms to be larger Staff were helpful

The hotel staff was more than average friendly. They were fast and accurate at check in as well as with check out. They went out of their way to provide me with a cappuchino on departure...service wise they deserve a 10+ !! Their major hotel Torrarica...next door could learn a lot from them.

We were greeted by very friendly front desk staff. We arrived close to 2:00A.M. And were warmly welcomed. Breakfat next morning was outstanding. We are vegetarians and there was even a vegetarian pan for frying our eggs The room was very clean, not huge but certainly big enough. Bathroom was very clean. Grounds are kept up beautifully. Only complaint...not enough shade around the pool. Enjoyed sitting on the bench by the river All in all, we were very satisfied with this hotel and recommend it highly

forget all the nasty comments about this hotel it is a top class hotel for a fair price we were so well treated we thought we were at a 5 star hotel we did not want to leave there at the end of the trip we cant wait to go there again i consider myself lucky to have found such a lovely hotel in the middle of everything. staff was awesome room fresh and clean the cleaners were lovely and safe to have in your room the even went overboard and treat us on our 25 wedding anniversary to a bottle of champane and decor in the room for our special stay it was unheard of anywhere else even the guards at the gate was so great thks expedia and thks eco resort for making our 25 anniversary so special .

It's high season but everyone prefers to use the larger more popular facilities at Torarica which guests have free access to. Consequently I was more than happy to enjoy the small pool overlooking the river all to myself since I was only staying at the Eco to have a quiet couple of days of relaxation. Have stayed here before and given the price, cleanliness and location I will stay again. Breakfast is also very nice.

Location is great if you get a riverside room. Very nice nature surroundings while still in the city. Outdoor restaurant is great. My favorite hotel in Suriname.
