Comfortable, clean room and a great breakfast. Receptionist Helen was very polite, friendly and efficient.

Really lovely hotel finished to a high standard. There was a lovely smell of fresh flowers when we walked in and bonus having a pool, although sadly we didn’t have time to use it. Warm and cosy with a nice view and free onsite parking was also a bonus. Breakfast was lovely, as were the staff.

There was no one on reception when we arrived (although it was around 9.30pm) and we had to wait for around 10 minutes for someone to appear to check us in. There was also an alarm going off very early in the morning (sounded like a malfunctioning door entry point beeping) which went on for some time and woke us up but did eventually stop thankfully.

Lovely clean traditional Manor House

Booked with a view to using the pool and spa facilities. However the pool was too cold to use. Also the shower in the room was not warm enough whereas the water in the basin was v hot. The pool areas showers were warmer than the room.

Friendly, helpful staff. My room was comfortable and the en-suite bathroom spotlessly clean.

For anyone staying a week, it would be good to have some variety in the dinner menu, particularly vegetarian dishes.

Location excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room lovely and very comfortable. Exceptionally clean. Breakfast superb. Good choice and the cooked breakfast was hot. 8
