Very comfortable bed and well appointed room, would like liked a non fry up option for breakfast

A warm welcome from very friendly staff We enjoyed our dinner Breakfast was only average so a little disappointing The bedroom was smallish but typical of such an old property The location is fantastic

The room was small but adequate with good storage space. The Inn relies heavily on outside guests and so getting a booking for dinner was on a first come first served basis regarding times. The main downside was the lack of any comfortable lounge seating for residents either in the room or elsewhere - a problem for us as we are both in our 80s. Good location, ideal place for younger walkers. Huge portions of good food.

Very pleasant break at the Britt. The restricted menu and new controls brought in to manage Covid were understandable, and we found the same situation across all the pubs and restaurants during our stay.

The room was reasonably sized and the en-suite very well equipped. It was very clean and the shower was excellent. As is typical of a property of this age, the sound-proofing was not particularly good and it was possible to hear the loud voiced gentleman talking next door and whenever the water is used in an adjacent room, it was quite loud in our room. The dining room, unfortunately, had rather an unpleasant smell, but the food was absolutely fine. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We probably would not stay there again, but perhaps we are not the intended target customer.
