"great experience - but be aware of the location"

We booked a luxury suite on the Hotels.com website that showed the amazing location of the hotel and pool at the citadel location in Bonifacio. When we arrived we found that we had been placed in the hotel annex located at the port, well away from the main hotel . There was no mention on the Hotel.com website booking page of the room being in an annex far away from the hotel amenities. The hotel kindly upgraded us to a better room, but were unable to move us from the port area. After adjustment, it turned out well and we loved being in the port location. The hotel ran a private shuttle to the main location on request.

"Excellent modern hotel "

Excellent hotel but awkward to get to from the bus station up to the hotel location high on The Citadel. No taxis available - they refused to come for us - perhaps too busy - so we had to walk up the steep hill pulling our bags with us.

"Lovely room overlooking port."

We were at the port location, which was a great place to stay. Gorgeous, large room with its own parking spot. Fabulous view of the yachts, and lots of dinner spots. Two small balconies, and one larger balcony with table and chairs. Illy Espresso machine with no directions so I used YouTube. Internet difficult to get on for iPhone and iPad. It was late and reception couldn't help. Ended up going to provider's help site and clicked a link that enabled service. All the staff was wonderful and very helpful. We requested a self-guided walking tour. Nicolas gave us an itinerary to follow for the one full day we were there and it was absolutely perfect. Thank you!

"Very convenient hotel to visit Bonifacio "

Stayed at the marina suite rooms. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with great view of the marina and the citadel from 3 balconies. Very convenient to walk to restaurants and all tourist sites. Hotel decor needs a little update but other than that it's a fantastic place to stay.

"Great location and view"

A beautiful hotel overlooking the port and town. Very helpful staff who, eg, gave us a lift to the ferry with our bags. A lovely slice of luxury amongst the bustle of Bonifacio
