Victoria and Alfred Guest House

Once we got our bearings we realised this place was in a great location to explore the city. Close enough to the centre and to get to good restaurants but in a quiet location. Good secure parking, lovely helpful staff and nice rooms. Try Bridge Street Brewery 5 mins away for great food and real ale.

It was excellent. I think that the no smoking policy should be advertised up front because most hotels give one a choice as to smoking or non smoking rooms. Please mark the complimentary tubes of shampoo and body wash clearly or I hope that's what they were for. Otherwise it was an excellent stay

A slightly better than average guest house with very helpful staff.

This is not really a guest house or B&B, but rather a small hotel in a residential area very near the airport. Our room was large but spartan in furnishings, compared to the other guest houses we stayed at during our trip. The breakfast was O.K., but nothing special. If you need a room near the airport, this is a good option.

On our first night there was an air of absentee management. Towels slightly damp, room not aired and none of the finishing touches I have come to expect from a good 4 star in EC. Breakfast from the bain marie was stone cold on the 15th. On the 22nd we had a nicer room and staff were most helpful.

I only stayed 1 night and did not even have a meal. Everything was fine.

Nice guesthouse, big roon with a good beed and huge bathroom. Quiet surroundings an less than 5 minutes to airport in a taxi.

Lovely big room, spotlessly clean, with a great deep bath. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. The location near the airport is very convenient and there's free parking on site. I'd recommned staying here.

very nice people, low price, brandnew room (although not in de main building), nice breakfast, even dinner was possible (no choise but good!). The airport is just a few minutes driving. Good for one or just a few days experience.
