"Elegant refinement with a homely feel"

What an amazing find. Tucked away on the edge of the village, Edgcott house is the perfect weekend bed and breakfast get away. Penny and Simon, your hosts, welcome you into their exquisite home like old friends. The house is spotlessly clean, warm and inviting, everything you could want in such elegant comfort. The whole feel of the place is just so refined but homely. My wife and I had had a stressful day before we arrived because of car issues but once there we just relaxed into the peace and quiet. So much so that we stayed an extra night. Breakfast was a real treat and you know that cooking is a passion in the house by the bookcase full of cookery books in the hallway. No half measures here with copious use of local ingredients and home grown produce. Penny successfully reminded me how much I like rhubarb for breakfast! We cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough and we were even able to take our dog. We shall return again.

We had such a wonderful stay at Edgcott House. The house and garden are absolutely beautiful with every detail of your stay catered for. Our hosts were lovely and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend.
