"A luxurious haven on Exmoor"

A very beautiful and elegant property. It was like being in a 5 star hotel but we felt at home despite being in our muddy cycling gear. The breakfast was outstanding and there was even a hose for the bikes!

Really delightful house, with well-appointed en-suite bedroom. We very much liked the breakfast arrangements, where we were all served at a long and elegant Georgian-style table, in a very beautiful and interesting room, featuring trompe-l'oeil decorations. We would definitely return to Edgcott House when in the area.

We could have stayed for longer, had we known how delightful it was. We didn't like leaving.

"Amazing bed and breakfast stay, the breakfasts were the highlight of our trip!"

Spacious comfortable room, great location, extremely friendly and helpful hosts and custom cooked to order breakfasts to die for every morning. Penny’s breakfasts were the best food I ate during our trip to England. Every day there were different menu selections, both sweet and savory. We also got homemade cakes in our room every afternoon. Highly recommend staying here!

"Beautiful house in lovely setting, conveniently positioned."

Lovely house in convenient setting. Only short walk from couple of pubs and a shop. Loved the cake on our arrival.

Our double room was very small and despite the windows being open was very hot .

A beautiful place to stay - the hosts were lovely, the room was comfortable and very clean. Received a very thoughtful welcome of cakes and tea/coffee in the room. And in the morning, a royal breakfast, cooked to order with many options. Wonderful place, wish we could stay there longer!

"Hidden gem"

This lovely place exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed our stay there. The interiors of the cottage are tastefully done in a charming old-style & the surrounding garden is beautiful. Our host was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was a real highlight: fresh, homemade and of restaurant quality. I would highly recommend to a friend. A real hidden gem!
