Duke of Wellington

I stayed here for a night with my son and my spaniel. The accommodation was very comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was great. What's not to like!?

A charming, totally delightful hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay - large, comfortable room, very clean bathroom. And the food! Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. You won't be sorry, despite it being in a small village well off the beaten path.

Lovely Inn located in a quiet village. Great restaurant. Friendly staff. Location convenient for exploring Wall country and day-trips to Newcastle. Enjoyed Our stay very much.

Staff only too happy to help with any problem with your visit, with directions and advice to make your stay really enjoyable. Food was great and very generous portions so much so I couldn't eat one of their delicious looking sweets.

Stay overnight while attending a wedding at another venue. Rooms very comfortable. Staff helpful in every way. Food excellent and chef catered for a dairy intolerance diet. Pity there was no soya milk for breakfast though. But rest was beautifully cooked and plentiful. Would definitely stay again.

Nice room. Good food and nice restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is rather isolated and has no resident lounge or leisure facilities.
