If you're looking for peace and quiet wirh beautiful rooms and stunning views, The Duke doesn't disappoint. Lovely location in a hamlet just off the A69 so really convenient to get to too.

A last minute booking as arrived with no where to stay. With no expectations of where I’d booked I can say that I will now be coming back here. Beautiful location in a gorgeous little hamlet, great views and easy parking. Obviously refurbished in recent years to a top standard. imm Iuî

Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Fabulous time, wonderful food. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, staff were so helpful throughout, menu was inventive and delicious, a cut above gastropub fare. As a person travelling on my own, couldn’t have asked for more. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing stay at the Wellie! The staff and the owner went above and beyond for us on the bank holiday weekend. The rooms, food and people were all lovely! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

The room was good and bed really comfy. The hotel is located very conveniently to access main roads for travelling or sightseeing. Breakfast was fine but a bit unimaginative. However on each day of our stay we were told that somethimg on the menu was not available - if that is the case then just remove it! We had to ask for juice, toast, preserves which should have been automatic for breakfast staff to provide. A guest lounge is not available and was a bit of a miss for us. Overall a pleasant hotel.

Nice little pub which has rooms that’s are very comfortable. The room had everything we needed and it was a great location to get some relaxed time while being able to travel to Hexham and Corbridge

Property, Room, Food, staff all excellent. What more cane you say. Would definitely recommend.
