Nothing, we checked out early as it was disgusting

It was dirty. We were stood outside till 11:45pm at night with a baby and a 4 year old trying to get a hold of someone to let us in (they knew we were arriving at 10:30pm) - there was “hairs” in the bed and the shower. It was just rotten

Booked via booking.com at 10pm as I was already staying in Blackpool with my daughter and left current hotel as it was unsafe. Waited for confirmation email and booking on her. Went to the Albany knocked on with my little girl and was told I was lying and didn’t have a booking and wasn’t allowed in. It was pitch black and raining. I asked if I could come in quickly to get my phone on to show booking or find a new hotel and he shut the door in my face leaving me in the street with a 5 year old. Hotel had the audacity to ring me at midnight asking if I was going to stay. Told them the situation and was again told I was lying.

Location was ok

On arrival, we were taken to a different hotel, which was in desperate need of refurbishment, very dated and sub standard I wasn't happy at all as I didn't book this place no hot water in rooms I was there for a birthday and it was pretty much ruined I would really appreciate some kind of compensation/refund as this was a very unexpected disappointment I'd be very reluctant to use booking.com again after this bad experience Kind regards Stuart Howard
