Solway Lodge Hotel

It was in a good location for the shops we were in an outside chalet was clean

The bed was horrendous completely shot

Central, clean, good breakfast

Disappointing evening meal. Wife sent her meal back. Ordered the Chicken Curry but was made with poor quality Chicken and not a Chicken breast as advertised. Waitress was apologetic and offered another option.

The location was excellent, the staff very pleasant and the room was very clean and very well decorated

Our room this time was inside the hotel, lovely big room bed was king size and very comfy 😴.. Food in restaurant is fab 👌 👏

Ehhh maybe the hot water in the shower could have been 🔥, but I was in and out of shower to get moving. But won't stop be coming back to this hotel

The property itself was fantastic as was the food & staff. We certainly will be returning.

There was a 40th birthday party on in the function suit but they spent their time in the lounge which made it very noisy and we couldn’t have a conversation. Our friends and us had to go to bed after dinner as we couldn’t have a conversation. This is not a reflection on the hotel itself, just the party.

Bar meals very good

The bed wasn’t that good but the room was clean and warm
